Yes of course Pete knows he is popular, he can read! He can read what his fans write, it’s not difficult to see.
I have sometimes voted for the professional if I’m not enamoured with any particular celebrity. I only use my 3 free votes though. I wouldn’t spend money on voting. Same with any similar show. Saying that I don’t think I’ve ever voted in any other reality show. Oh apart from a celebrity BB but that was years and years ago.

Without a Hamza to invest in, it’s just dull and irritating.

Chris to be fair is inspirational - have to keep reminding myself he can’t see the visual cues of his dance partner, he’s done incredibly well.

I think Pete is good looking, beautiful eyes and dark hair. Dh thinks he is a dog 🙁

I'm not sporty, have no interest in sport and feel zero connection to sportspeople usually, but I really liked Montell. She seems lovely and I really admire her muscular arms! I thought that rumba was genuinely emotional. I'm so sorry she's gone. I like Pete but he shouldn't be there. He should've done the decent thing and resigned, like John thingy did back a few years ago - the journalist? When he knew he'd stayed beyond his ability. I really don't think Pete's heart is in this.

As much as I think Pete should have gone by now I don't think he should resign. He's there because the public wants him there, it would be an insult to quit.

Personally I don't get the hostility for Sara on here. She may have had some dance training in her youth, but she's in her FIFTIES! Why is there not more support for a woman of that age absolutely smashing it?

How many women of that age do we see on TV? ( not many)
And looking fabulous, sexy, athletic, paired with a younger guy and able to keep up with.him?

I think we should be celebrating her, not knocking her down. I'd be v happy if she won.

I think it was the opening dance for the whole series.
She was amazing.
The very essence of what Strictly should be - a total amateur who was so up for everything, and having an absolute blast doing it, they looked like they were having a laugh during every VT.
And there was definitely chemistry between AJ and Kai 💕

?? Some people are obviously block voting for him. I have read that some of the TOWIE people are asking their friends/family/followers to vote, vote, vote for Pete.

I would hope that they are at least watching him but quite possibly they are not which is ridiculous and makes a bit of a mockery of the show.

I'm sure they must ask them their preferences for songs etc in advance. But the 'surprise' is when it's confirmed.

Yeah, I’m not sure I believe the “block voting” thing tbh. I can see Pete’s appeal although I didn’t vote for him. I believe that many viewers may be chucking him two or three of their three votes, which is fine. I wasn’t surprised to see Tasha in the DO tbh because I think that many viewers find her insipid and lacking in chemistry with her partner, and others find her presence in SCD unfair. Montell has been unpopular for a few weeks and had a famously hard dance, so again it wasn’t a surprise to see her in the DO. I wasn’t shocked by the events of this evening at all and I don’t sense any voting skullduggery although if there’s evidence to the contrary that is picked up by the team that verifies the vote, fair enough.

Hamilton is the best musical I have ever seen. That song is great in the musical! Introduces the sisters.
Can’t believe is semi final next week. Blink and Christmas is here.
