Honestly, I think Montell could have got 40 doing a Charleston to the most Charleston music ever in the best slot and would still have ended up in the DO.

I don't dislike Pete but he's simply not dancing well enough or making enough progress to get to the SF.

Well, the result was predictable but I enjoyed Montell’s performance in the dance off more than Tash’s.

Yes, there is that but it makes his victory a bit hollow if there are fewer people voting hundreds of times for him against more people who vote only once for their favourite.

I think a lot of people will be voting for Sarah because of Vito. I sometimes vote because I like the professional more than the celebrity but this series I only voted for the first time yesterday as felt sorry for Montell.

As for not watching strictly, well so what? I know people who spend a fortune on a box at football matches. They are not die hard fans by any stretch of the imagination. They buy the box because they can and want the experience and possibly the snob factor of impressing their mates. Just pointing out that some of Petes fans by their own admission don’t watch the show, it’s not for them.

Oh, poor Montell. You could tell she knew she was gone from the moment they called her name. If not from the moment they called Tasha's.

I think it’s always hard as the contestants dwindle.

They are prone to cracking so are much more likely to 'break' than other gemstones. I was left my granny's - as a teenager, mum said she would look after it for me until I was older so I wouldn't break it. She wore it once and yep she broke it, so it was unlucky for me.

I don't re-watch dances very often but sometimes I'll watch that jive again. Bleddy amazing for week 1.

AJ was brilliant though, and I felt sad for her for missing out on the final. She would have had an amazing show dance I'm sure.

I'm not a Pete fan- as a dancer or a person- but I really don't warm to Montell at all. I find her a bit sulky when she is criticised. In that dance-off she deserved to go but Pete should have been in the dance-off.
