See you next week Chuffs old and new.

Blueberrycreampie · 05/12/2024 20:59

Till next week then!

PotterHead1985 · 05/12/2024 21:04

Until monday. Perhaps someone could create the next thread in advance since we are over 900 on this one and we don't know what mastertwat revelations will come over the weekend?

Thanks to your link I found this treasure: 'Ten reasons why people hate Gregg Wallace' from 9 months ago. Lots of clips of Gregg that haven't aged well.

Bit late watching it tonight. All I will say is that I thought Chiara suppressed William in the garden produce challenge rather than working as a team. I wonder if they would have done better if he had had more creative and technical input? She goes on about not having much experience but, because field to fork is her thing, she took over and then wasn't much cop. I would have been so disappointed with that soggy goat's cheese thing that got served up.

GrouchyKiwi · 05/12/2024 20:26

Am sad @EsmaCannonball isn't here for Mon's last comment. Grin

I'm sorry. I decided it would be sensible to do late night Christmas shopping in torrential rain and gale force winds. Clement weather makes these things too unchallenging and I find it gets me in the spirit if I experience a little of the conditions that Santa Claus lives through up there in the North Pole.

It has indeed.

(Just briefly popping in. Dan for the win!)

The Princess Anne caption is the best!

ahjeez · 05/12/2024 22:14

Gaston for the win, though really like George too.

Gaston makes food I've never seen before that's so much more exciting. Add to that his humour and character in general and I hope he wins.

Reckon it will probably be Dan though, for the story arc.

MrsJRHartley · 05/12/2024 22:56

Dan ❤

Fransgran · 06/12/2024 06:23

Bad luck, William. Chiara is a bossy bitch. Takes one to know one, as Mammy used to say.

UseOfWeapons · 06/12/2024 06:53

Just seen all this, and relieved that there are others out there that think Chiara is bossy and up herself. Dan or Gaston for me for a win, but would be happy with anyone apart from her, tbh.

I agree - she bossed him around and was awful. Poor lad.

I have taken against Chiara too. Really bossy! Gaston or Dan !

EmotionalSupportBiscuit · 06/12/2024 17:37

These are the final four I wanted - George gave me a couple of scares but I’m really glad he’s there. Don’t think he’ll be the winner, though.

Dan, is my bet.

Genuinely love them all, even Chiara, because I remember I thought I knew it all when I was that young and did you know she’s not very experienced?

@EmotionalSupportBiscuit - an extremely valid point. Thank you.

Um... dear god why is the final of finals week on at 9pm?!

PotterHead1985 · 09/12/2024 18:58

I have pre-emptively made us a thread for tonight since this one is nearly full.
