I couldn't see a thread for the new series... anyone watching and want to discuss?

It's MTV they are hardly known for their ethics
When you go by what they allow the American Moms ,to get away with .

Just watching ep 8. I can’t believe people have such strong opinions on what someone else does with their hair 😆

Her mum kept saying well it'll grow, it'll grow and I was thinking yeah and if she likes it she'll cut the growth off!

I've just watched the episode before the hair one. I find the whole ghostwriter thing bizarre. I mean surely if you can write you don't need to pay out for one and if you can't you really shouldn't bother? Quite aware that many famous authors use them but I've always assumed that's after they've become a household name and have already developed a style etc or for celebrities for autobiographies who obviously have other skills rather than writing. I'm sure Mia's book was practically an autobiography anyway!

It's clear there's so much we don't see of the Sassi/Darren thing. She talks the talk on camera and seems to be quite together but it's plain to see she's far from that off camera. She's extremely volatile.

Surely Ste must have a job if he's giving the boys 40 quid a week pocket money?

Just catching up with this series (late to the party !)
Watched ep1 and indeed Amber is same old .,,
I had read ages ago that the cast is paid something like £5k per series but of course then a lot of opportunities arise from this.
It is my understanding Amber is on benefits and has never really worked, her kids are now in school now so child care is easier, am I really unreasonable thinking if she wanted to offer a better future for her children she could maybe get a job ?

Needless to say Manley is a narcissist and a psychological abuser. His mum is enabling his behaviour too. Absolutely vile

To be fair if Amber's kids do have Adhd or any other type of neuro diversity they might be entitled to DLA and Amber could claim carers allowance
It wouldn't be that bad an income probably more than she would get in minimum wage
I font think she has relevant qualifications for a higher paid job.

5k is nothing really there is a huge disparity with the uk mums and USA mom's

So chlorine is pregnant again and marleys face he was so excited for a new sibling. I've done some snooping and she's having another boy.
I did feel sorry for sassi over the argument with her mum she needs her mum but think sassi is like a bullet she flies off at any given moment.
I'm glad mia and manley finally kind of spoke and your could see marlia was happy too.

I was actually a teen mum and the first episodes are more accurate than the ones showing now. Obviously they get paid to be on TV but it only really shows amber struggle financially. The other girls seem to have nice houses and cars. Amber needs help with the kids and focusing on herself.

Chloes haircut was so over hyped. I still can't get over Amber's bubbly wallpaper but at least she tries to make the place nice. Sassy is so angry I think she'd benefit from some kind of therapy to help her move on. it seems her ex darren is afraid of her he really didn'twant to appear on camera with her , was she going to reveal something. Mia is so nice but I think she needs to do just one thing at a time . Her friends seem a bit nasty or snidey about her ambitious

Tbf though Mia,s ambitions,are pie,in the sky ideas,,the book.idea was just embarrassing
And whilst the candles did look nice I can't see them taking off
You can get nice candles everywhere these days.

I have a friend who is like this. Always starting “new businesses” and expects her friends to be loyal customers… but the products are always 💩

I agree they are pie in the sky , she's very optimistic even about the terrible co parenting. I think manleys mother enjoys the drama of it .

I suspect Mia's friends put up with A LOT hence them being very blasé about her latest bullshit ventures career plans.

That's not a spoiler ,she said she was pregnant at the end of the last episode.

Yeah right at the end of the episode there was a bit tagged on ,saying four months later
And she said she was pregnant .
