All we can hope is that someone trips over their ego in the next pop up round and ends up with ego on their smug face.

And of course the burning question of the day will then be - is the semi final finally the time when finally Jordan pulls it out of his arse and shows the judges what he is capable of instead of just farting around with pork scratchings and crispy pannacotta and moaning about how we haven’t seen the best of him.

I was all set to watch along last night but fell asleep almost at once and only woke up to a "hungry bald man" shouting. Literal waking nightmare. Just caught up. Sorry wee Jordan and his lovely mum are gone.

Breaking news! Gregg’s gone. According to the DM he has stepped down from Masterchef because of “historical allegations”. I don’t know if it will affect the current series, I assume they film well in advance.

No more slippery, buttery biscuit bases 😃It won’t be the same without him …………. But the good news is it will be better.

Just seen that too @viques - weirdly it won't be the same at all without him. I wonder who will replace him. May JT will decide that it's also time for him to call it a day and let the programme have a fresh start?

I doubt it will affect this series, cos I'm pretty sure it's finished filming and they can't completely cut him out in editing. They might try quick edits of some bits that's just him possibly but I'd say that's about it. Normal MC is next up I believe so they'll need to replace him. Hopefully we will get a complete refresh and get rid of JT at the same time!!

The BBC article says this series will obviously continue to be broadcast with him as it's all filmed etc.

I hope it's a permanent end and we get a GOOD replacement.
