I cannot see Amy pulling off that style of Charleston that they did last night, nor the samba that out him top of the leaderboard two weeks after Amy withdrew.

Sarah might not necessarily be dressed as Elfaba. Vito will look amazing as Fiyero! Still, Defying Gravity was used 10 years ago with Frankie amd Kevin, so there's every possibility that they'll be dancing the Tango to that!

I prefer people with no previous dance experience. Jamie went to Sylvia Young. Sarah went to Lanes and Tasha was a commercial dancer. JB will also have dance experience in JLS

I will be voting for those with no previous experience.

At least the indications are that people are actually watching Chris learn to dance. My suspicion is that Pete is pulling in block votes from people who aren't watching the show. I don't care what kind of oh so humble sob stuff he puts up on social media. He should have gone long before now.

Or maybe people are voting for Pete because they like him!

Where do you draw the line?

Dance experience is a spectrum rather than a binary yes or no. Everybody has had some form of dance experience whether it's one term of ballet when you were 10, dancing in clubs in your 20s or Tasha level dancer.

i do feel sorry for the singers they bring in, whoever is doing the sound mixing on their live performances need to go back to school, they sound terrible EVERY week.

Nikita is SUCH an incredible dancer - his expression of movement is just fabulous. Each year he gets better and better.

He's my fave male pro now that Aljaz has become a football chanter.

Pete simply belongs to a different demographic than the average Strictly fan. In the social media era he has 2M followers on Instagram, most of these followers will be British as I am not sure he is well known outside the UK

I agree @xsquared. But I don't think Amy could or would have done those routines even several years ago. I've never rated her choreography or as a pro, lovely though she seems as a person, (and I do admire her after seeing her documentaries on cancer and crohns).

But it's not good when it seems the pros are holding the celeb back or harming their chances. There are quite a few pros that probably need to go next year - Neil, Nadia, Karen, Gorka, Luba and Johannes come to mind. And Aljaz- he seems so worn out after their routines.

I like his attitude. It seems more honest and normal than all the OTT screechy super fan stuff <side eyes Sarah>

I actually thought he was very good in that, great shape and line, and partnered Nancy very well. To be fair I was mostly watching Nancy's amazing legs and feet but Neil kept up no bother!

People seem to think that Pete is getting masses of votes from his fans. I could, of course, be wrong but I can't see Chris getting the same amount of votes

Karen and Johannes shouldn't be going anywhere, they're both still amazing dancers.

I don’t believe Pete’s followers are all spending money to vote again and again by text or phone vetweey8 and 9pm. I follow loads of ppl on SM - doesn’t mean Imd vote for them at all.

I do understand what people are saying when you say you’d rather Pete be in than a ringer. I actually have been voting for Pete every week up until last week, because I think it’s his time now. The other dancers are so far ahead of him that it doesn’t make sense that he’s there. He is likeable (to some), and isn’t a ringer but also it IS a dance competition and Pete just really isn’t that good

I've said that my issue is not with individuals voting for him but my suspicions about organised block voting by people who aren't even watching the show.

It isn't a really a dance competition though. It's an entertainment show and the public vote for who they want to see next week, not who they think is the best dancer.

The best dancer rarely wins.
