Max thinks Social Services will give him custody of Frankie despite the fact he’s 18, was with Lauren for about 20 minutes, isn’t the father, and has no means of supporting him.

At least Kit has remembered to do Max for perverting the cause of justice. On Classic, Angela Harris did the same as Max and got 8 years, we never saw her again (it’s too much to hope for isn’t it).

Where has Amy gone. Hopefully she will suss out Cassie

Bobby was obviously at work in the factory. He is possibly the only person working there. Carla is off with Lisa, Sarah has Bethany and Deedee to look after, Beth is in Norwich, Fizz has vanished, Izzy has vanished, Michael is in the pub, Betsy is in the ginnel etc. Sally and invisible Bobby are in charge.

Cassie looks more glam every time she turns up.

So what is her plan now? Ken said that the hospital put him right so quickly because they knew he was on warfarin so checked it. She 'gave him a look' and googled "antihistamines which make you drowsy". She obviously popped to the chemist as Ken was promptly drowsy. This is reminding me of Meg in Crossroads being poisoned by one of her husbands for her money.

It's a shame they didn't redeem Cassie, she would be a good character if she wasn't trying to con/off a 90 year old.

David brought max up though, even when Kylie buggered off at one point, and is father to max's sibling, so that would be quite normal for him to gain custody I think.

Not sure how it would work with Frankie though, although I'm guessing Lauren might get some say in where he lives 🤷‍♀️

As you say, Max had already been living with David - and he was a ten year old child when Kylie died, not a baby barely out of the intensive care unit.

And Sally and Gail used to be really close now they barely look at each other. Also why doesn’t Izzy have anything to with her maternal nephew Joseph and why don’t Joseph and Jake ever have any interaction. They’re first cousins live in very close proximity and are practically the same age.

So the hospital in real life now would be monitoring poor old Ken's INR (clotting) levels with twice-weekly (at least) blood tests, while dropping his warfarin dose for a day and subsequently reducing it. In fact if memory serves I had to have my blood tested every day for a week at outpatients after my INR went sky high. <Narrows eyes at DP.>

The hospital staff don't want to reduce the dose too far, as that would put the patient at risk of problematic clotting. And, you know, that death thing.

There's no way SS would let Shona and David have baby Frankie. Nearly everyone in that family has a criminal history. Where's Wendy Crozier when you need her?

Wendy and baby could also look after Ken.
