DeeDee's name is actually Diana. I have heard her dad call it her a few times. He did on Monday's episode.

Joel was hit with a crowbar first (by deedee).

Maybe DeeDee will give the baby up for adoption?
And by some strange coincidence the baby will be adopted by Toyah.

They already have umpteen babies and small children that were introduced for dramatic effect. Once they are here they "disappear" upstairs only seen at Christmas or birthday parties. Small children and soaps don't really work.

Surely Frankie isn't old/big enough for calpol? I can't remember what age mine were when they were first allowed it.

I thought that too but they allow it from two months after injections and he was premature so might be allowed as it is needed.

I am so fed up with all the crime. Now we have Mason’s brothers being baddies. This is supposed to be a soap not a crime series. There are too many characters no one cares about and so many issues and characters disappearing for weeks on end.

Coronation Street is on right now but I am not really watching it as it has become a bore. It is such a shame because it used to the best soap, full of great characters we knew well, interesting drama and humour. Plots are issue led not character led, characters personalities change to suit the storyline, characters don’t interact with each other - when did Ken last have a chat in the pub with Kevin etc. The episodes are full of ‘big’ storylines but missing the minute detail of daily life such as buying stuff in the shop, chatting in the pub etc.

It is very sad to see the state of Coronation Street these days. It used to be one of my favourite programmes but not now.
