With the money, from my recollection, it was Harvey’s then Damon somehow got it, rang Sarah to say she could have the money to bring Bethany back from her operation in turkey but Sarah didn’t know what he was talking about. Meanwhile, Jesse was looking for something, found the money in David’s cupboard under the stairs so David took it for some reason and now Jesse has it

There's been money in holdalls in and out of the Platt's place so many times I've no clue now who started it. Maybe it was Nick. He had a big holdall of money at one point.

I did think this, but surely Jesse would have nicked the money originally when he found it?

Plus there has to be a way of David keeping the house.

I had to think back to where that money came from. It was from Damon/Harvey’s lock up, Damon offered it to Sarah for Bethany's surgery. But David nicked it, I think he was originally going to use it to buy the house, then Jesse found it and pointed out David had no idea how to launder it and someone would shortly arrive and stove his head in. So David went back to the lock up return it, but one of the goons was lurking around so he just went back home again. I think Jesse is genuine, although I don't know why a builder in France would want to be paid in sterling. Anyway clearly one of the goons is going to find out David took it, and then he won’t have it to give back which is … awkward.

I reckon the money is done now. Damon blamed it on someone else and generally you'd think these nutcases would find out who set them up, but the writers needed a way for David to keep the house, as I assume he'll be another Ken Barlow and never leave!

Not sure how he'd explain to Shona why Jesse had gifted him a ton of cash or how he'd avoid her finding out about it but I guess they'll forget that part. Unless she won't be involved as he'll find out about Kit by then!

Cellophane I dunno, I said earlier that in Corrie a character always finds a way to make things worse, which is why I think the stolen money will haunt David!

I wonder if David and Shona are going to break up. There are a lot of things rustling around in the background which are not going to remain hidden.

If Bobby is the baby daddy, he and Carla will have the baby and that would be really excellent. It would have been more excellent if Carla had bought the Platts house.
I have never had unexpected cash in a cupboard, I suppose I don't know an evil criminal mastermind.

Has Frankie had a paternity test to confirm Joel is his father? Why is everyone convinced it’s Bobby or Max as the father?

Lauren snuggled under a blanket with Bobby so he's a probability. Apparently, according to my kids, netflix and chill is a euphemism. Max must have dtd as they say on conception threads, if he thinks he's the daddy .
Joel needs to be consigned to history. I'm sure deedee can have the baby and forget Joel, Sarah will coach her in that.

I'm hoping Bobby is being rested before his massive dna reveal. He appeared a few weeks ago and was sad that Lauren and Max were a couple because she's his one true love.(Also we needed to remember he exists).

Does Bobby still live with Ryan and Carla?

@eggandonion I'm not sure if you have inside information, or if this is just wishful thinking. I would love it to be true, but....

I thought Bobby had moved out...does he have a mammy to go back to? But then he appeared so perhaps Carla has more bedrooms than we think?
Sadly I don't have any information beyond knowing that snuggling in an adult free home can lead to complications down the line.

Surely literally anybody other than Joel would have been a better option as Frankie's dad? If there was even the tiniest chance of somebody else being in the frame Lauren would have clung onto that for dear life I'm sure.

Yes Lauren is fairly dim but surely if she had any doubt it was Joel's baby she would have been straight onto it.

Will DeeDee go through with the termination? You'd think when she sees Joel's parents circling Frankie it would spur on her to do so, but this is Corrie.

Joel's parents give me the creeps. Not sure if they're over-acting the sinister vibe but they appear totally unhinged! It's no wonder he turned out like he did 😂

It's weird, they don't seem traumatised or even surprised about Joel and the events that led up to his death. And you would think they would realise they are the last people DeeDee would want to see.
