I have not watched the last three episodes so am reading with interest. Les would certainly not be doing manual work - or two jobs - when he spent most of his life loafing around. And given his beer and cigs lifestyle he would not be in any state to either!

Yes, Billy who has just been in Classic Corrie for the wedding of Cilla and Les. I'm not dure whether he reappears at any time in the future but he had no relationship with Les.

Because Alan Halsall who plays Tyrone is in Celeb at the moment, will he have a temporary exit or will Corrie pretend he’s around but no one will see him until he’s back?

Maybe Tyrone will go to Romania to see Dorin to explain his absence

I'm wondering if Helen Worth is not in good health despite what she's said as it's a bit odd she's been AWOL so much leading up to her departure.

I think that is why she's left, yeah, she's not said anything specific but I am sure I read something about her just feeling much more easily tired. I think like other older long term cast members, she's been allowed to do as much or as little as she wants until she decides she wants to go.

My coronation street viewing is a bit odd as I was an avid fan for years ( the Deirdre, Vera & Jack era ) then for some reason I stopped watching, for literally years. Picked it up again during lockdown, and despite it not being as good as it was, I’m totally hooked again 😄

On the subject of the older cast - Ken is doing remarkably well for a man in his 90’s.

I don't think Helen Worth has said anything publicly, she's a very private person and I can't remember her giving interviews. But it seems likely she has been unwell for a while, she has barely been on screen even during Platt dramas.

Someone mentioned the Jack and Ben podcast on here and I listened to the one where they talked about Helen leaving (there are no spoilers). This is it if anyone would like to listen (they are funny, but I am not a fan of Colson).
