Bake Off 24 Part Two: a meltingly light and fluffy thread taking us all the way to the final.

The last thread filled up fast in a heated debate about Alison's acrobatic antics. Join us here for the last two episodes.

Whose patisserie will carry them through the semi final and who will experience the frustration of missing out on the final 3? Will anyone fall off a stool, workbench or just trip over their own feet? Will the finalists surpass their previous efforts or will the last showstopper be a series of damp squibs? Not long to find out.

The baking gods aren't hanging with Dylan this week are they?

Too much afternoon tea fare after the scone signature. I’d rather see them mix it up more. It’s the final, not afternoon tea week.

I love a good afternoon tea, works for me.

And of course they will then serve it to the amassed friend's and family, so it works for that.

I am so stressed watching it!
Georgie saying ‘her tarts are getting on her nerves!’ 😂

Netaporter · 26/11/2024 20:34

Dylan has fallen at the final hurdle poor chap.

PrincessScarlett · 26/11/2024 20:34

Don't say that Paul, you'll make Dylan cry!

Appalonia · 26/11/2024 20:34

Looks like it could be Christiaan!

GetSetFake · 26/11/2024 20:34

Wow. Two critical judgings for Dylan. i did not see that coming. He looks on the edge of tears.

I was nearly crying for him!

FawnDrench · 26/11/2024 20:35

Yay!
Come on Christiaan!

Baneofmyexistence · 26/11/2024 20:35

Poor Dylan! He has been absolutely amazing up until this week! Bless him

PrincessScarlett · 26/11/2024 20:35

Ooohh Christiaan has come top in both signature and technical.

As Georgie says, it all comes down to the showstopper.

Appalonia · 26/11/2024 20:36

It's like the story of the hare and the tortoise, maybe Dylan peaked too soon...

CrushingOnRubies · 26/11/2024 20:36

I want to give Dylan a massive hug

AnImaginaryCat · 26/11/2024 20:37

Dylan is having a mare isn't he!

I expect Dylan has never failed at anything. Enormous pressure on an 18yo if this is his first disappointment on national telly. I hope they looked after him.

And now they have to go away overnight and re-group for the second day - tough after such a weak first day.

I'm sad we didn't see Gill do scones.

Oh yes! Gill would have done amazing scones I reckon 😋

SomethingWycked · 26/11/2024 20:39

Poor Dylan. He has been amazing nearly every week. Can he save himself in the Showstopper?

Maggiethecat · 26/11/2024 20:39

In the Dylan camp but called it this afternoon for Christiaan - something in mi bones 😂

Won’t mind cos he’s so cheery.

Netaporter · 26/11/2024 20:39

Unless Christian drops his, he’ll be robbed if he doesn’t win.

PrincessScarlett · 26/11/2024 20:40

Dylan will go all out in the showstopper.

PrincessScarlett · 26/11/2024 20:40

Hanging cake?

Netaporter · 26/11/2024 20:41

Did they say ‘hanging cake’?

jay55 · 26/11/2024 20:41

Do they have to put it in a hanging basket?
