This is our tenth anniversary of sharing our thoughts on Our Girl series one and have subsequently watched the other three series, followed by Soldier Soldier, The Musketeers, Spooks and Hustle so thought it was time to try something different. I see our friend Bones aka Olly Rix is due to start a new role in Casualty very soon.

Ah, ha! A suitable profession for someone nicknamed 'Bones'!

They wrote him out of Call The Midwife last series so I suppose something else needed to be in the offing. I don't think the CTM thread were too sorry to see him banished to America 😁

I'm not a Casualty viewer these days but good luck to him. I hope he gets a better storyline than OG without any unfortunate explosions or apple and oranges speeches 😂

He was Lawrence of Arabia, wasn’t he? Always felt there should be an OG spin-off for the likes of Bones, Peanut and Spanner. Some how, SAS: Rogue Heroes isn’t quite the same 😂

Matthew is reflecting on what has happened. Survivor's guilt. Meanwhile, Sir Richard watches on with some jealousy. He is determined to shake up the old order and modernise. Lord G is somewhat disapproving.

Lord Grantham is not going to adjust to change very easily.

Isabel wanting to sort out Downton for rehab

Isobel is really annoying when she's in one of those moods. How can she tell Violet and Lady G to turn the house over on a permanent basis!

Oh, dear. Daisy is in a dark mood.

Sounds like the war is going to end soon. Here's Isobel sounding disapproving again and suggesting Downton should remain a hospital...what a cheek.

Ah, this is the Canadian. He says he and Edith are related. She sounds and looks a bit spooked by him.

Meanwhile, Daisy is eaten away with guilt over William's death and the fact she is now entitled to a widow's pension.

Sir Richard is trying to poach Carson and lure him away with more money.

Carson is torn. Sir Richard wants to employ him and Carson has such a loyalty to Lady Mary.

"I don't dislike him, I just don't like him!" - is that a different thing? Violet sounds like she is neutral but in a negative way.

Meanwhile, Mrs Patmore is suggesting hoarding.

Mrs Patmore unwittingly gives Thomas a new idea for his devious dealings

Ethel is still being fed from the Downton kitchen and has been caught in the act by Carson.

I have a feeling that place Sir Richard is looking at is actually Waddesdon Manor. I've been there a couple of times.
