This is our tenth anniversary of sharing our thoughts on Our Girl series one and have subsequently watched the other three series, followed by Soldier Soldier, The Musketeers, Spooks and Hustle so thought it was time to try something different. Please join us and share your thoughts if you have ever been a fan of Downton Abbey. We are currently on series one, episode three.

The world of Downton and those who live and work there will never be the same again.

Is that it now for our watchalongs for 2024? Are we back for series 2 on 8 January?

I'm happy to take a break now and return for series 2 in January, if everyone is in agreement?

I've really been enjoying this. Less complicated than the latter series of Spooks and although I did watch most of the episodes as they aired, I've never bothered to watch again and I have forgotten quite a lot of it.

Yes I am enjoying seeing this again too. Happy to leave now till January. Hope you all have a lovely Christmas and that 2025 will be a happy and healthy year for all.

Catching up with this late. Happy to leave Series 2 till next year, only I’m not around for 3 weeks in Jan. Sorry.

I'm suffering with a horrible cough which came on suddenly yesterday afternoon Typical when there's an extended holiday period!

Dreadful weather here since midday yesterday. We're well used to rain but this has been exceptional. I wouldn't have been surprised to see the animals starting to line up two by two.

ilove sorry to hear your weather is so dreadful. Unfortunately it had an impact in many places on the NY celebrations that had to be cancelled. Just hoping not too much flooding follows on from this.

Sounds awful, ilove, here the rain has turned to sleet and the temp has dropped to 1C - a bit of a difference from Xmas Day!
