I've got one grandma from an "interesting" country who was an actual cook/ housekeeper and made amazing food from scratch in a traditional kitchen in an old stone house for her huge family every day - and another one who was a working class Londoner - she used to splurge on M&S chicken pie and ready made desserts when we came over. Guess which food I preferred?
