My thoughts on Dean are it's ok keeping it real and saying what you think of others, but if you know how BB works then you will always be nominated for slagging off other housemates, Especially inoffensive HM like Sarah. He fucked up big time, as did Nathan but Emma saved Nathan for whatever reason but she knew Dean had fucked it. I'm pretty sure she would know Dean was a gonna. Nathan would have gone had he been up.

I didn't think he was that bad on L@L he owned what he said (thought he was out of order about Sarah though) but he did say the shoes were a running joke in the house.
What we need to remember is we don't see everything that goes on in there and BB highly edits what we do see.

I don't think Ali is as bad either, there isn't anyone that really stand out to me who I want to win really this series.
There all quite calculated (even Emma more so I think).

I was thinking that one reason I struggle with Marcello is he put his hand on one of the women's necks. They were facing each other and she was walking towards him. He was laughing and only did it briefly, but if some man his size grabbed my neck in that strangulation grasp I think I'd instinctively lash out. It seemed such an odd thing to do. Why would he think it ok to do that, even in jest?

I'm not offended by Marcello. But then I'm old Skool and used to his sort of banter. The mistake he made was bantering with control freaks with no sense of humour, like Ali (I thought the kissing joke was hilarious)

He's learnt his lesson and jokes around with normal people like Sarah now.

Why are people like Dean 'keeping it real' and 'speaking from their chest' but other people are not allowed to be themselves without being censored?

I'm like you, he's doesn't bother me at all. I actually like his banter and he's back and forth jokes with Sarah is amusing. I see those two having a great friendship outside the house.

I do wonder what would have happened between Marcello and Lily the other night if Ali hadn't intervened. Martello was being a bit sleazy.

I think some of the people on there who say they are speaking from their chest are actually speaking out of their arse. Especially Dean.

I didn't like this either, but not because I find her vulnerable (she's clued up imo) more as his complete lack of standards gave me the ick 😂 Cosying up to someone who merrily chomps on their own bogies is beyond my comprehension.

Made me laugh when someone (can't recall who, might have been Emma) saw them and said something like "oh he wouldn't go there surely. Have you seen her socks?!) 🤣🤣

Looking at posts on twitter about the live feed yesterday pm, I think that there may have been a rule break (talking about noms) - possibly Nathan and Emma and the punishment may be that Nathan can't be up for HOH... there again, it could all be wishful thinking 😂

I think Marcello is sleezy, from the Donald Trump school. However he does have some nicer characteristics too. Ali was obviously uncomfortable with it so I think it's good that she called him out on it. I don't think it makes her boring at all that she is uncomfortable with this type of behaviour.
I think Dean went too far in his criticism of others so it was probably right that he left.

I hate this speaking with your chest thing. People just using it as an excuse to be horrid.

Ali would have called him out on it whether she cared or not though, as she's very aware of what is going to look bad and is desperately trying to avoid career suicide. Why she even went in there in the first place is a total mystery to me. She acts like it wasn't a choice 🤷‍♀️

I do think she is uncomfortable with it. But even so I think she was right to call him out because others might feel uncomfortable too but not feel confident enough to bring it up.

Exactly @JaneJeffer . It always baffles me when people say 'the edit' makes someone look bad. LOL, you can't edit anything IN. Dean and Ali have clearly been arseholes at some time or other, or they wouldn't have been able to show it.

Why are there not any 'bad edits' (for example) for Sarah, or Emma, or Khaled, that make them look like arseholes? There aren't any being shown - because there haven't behaved like arseholes, unlike Dean and Ali (and bloody Lily - the nightmare 'child!'

I'm not sure about Emma. She does make me laugh sometimes but I do think she's playing the game well. I think her age and life experience benefit her in that house. She watches and observes and has probably got more ability to bite her tongue.

I've gone the other way in old age. Whereas before I'd not have been confident enough to speak up, these days I'll happily call someone out for being an arsehole!

I like Emma. She's very aware of the age difference and often lets things go because of it, even though it's winding her up.
