I wish AJ hadn't interrupted him when he said Marcello was homophobic because I want to know what he was supposed to have done because we've seen nothing like that.

I think he was just trying to justify his actions Jane. Although we should always bear in mind that we see what BB wants us to see.

It's a pretty serious allegation to make about someone and should have been challenged

I agree @JaneJeffer but as it stands, I think Marcello may have been homophobic & BB have hidden it otherwise why not let Dean speak freely & challenge any untruths (as they obviously have video footage of it all!)

I agree Dean wasn't happy to be out but whoever is?! I'm not seeing the bitterness to the level everyone else seems to be. He absolutely did camp things up on L&L though, I agree with that!

See that's exactly why they should have asked because people will say oh it must be true then with no evidence whatsoever!

Definitely and there's no way ITV would have let that go and covered it up.

Dean does strike me as the sort of person that would use his sexuality as a reason for somebody not gelling with him, whether that be through past experiences or just as he's totally oblivious to the fact his nasty opinions or "truths" don't make him very likeable.

I wish Emma Willis could do the interviews. Remember when she did Roxanne Pallett's interview and showed her no mercy. It was great.

There's no way if he had been homophobic that Ali wouldn't have been up in arms about it. All she could come up with is that he was giving her evil looks which she thinks Khaled is doing too 🙄

I'm just watching Dean's L&L and I don't think he's coming across that badly.

Dean isn’t the first one to mention Marcello’s comments inside the house. Daze said exactly the same thing. We’re just not seeing them and Marcello has probably toned them down since Ali called him out on it.

Given BB completely edited out the bit where Emma first chose Segun, Nathan, BP and Hanah for the Vampires, then quickly changed her mind and chose Khaled, Dean and Ali instead (only keeping Segun, for some reason, and I had no idea she was even fond of him) it’s clear they’re playing editing tricks again and yes, showing us the narrative they want to push at any given time. Last night, for instance, was a really bad edit for both Dean and Ali.

Much as I had warmed to Lily she was so fucking selfish eating that chocolate within what seemed like minutes of the luxury budget arriving. I’ve gone off her again. Yeah, we all knew she’d do it but it was really inconsiderate. Especially given all the horrible tasks they had to do to get it.

I still don’t mind Dean and thought he was just full of bravado and playing the bitchy queen role on L&L. I don’t blame him for any of it. He would have been safe but Emma saved Nathan over him so yeah, I’m sure he was pissed off. I would’ve been too.

On BBLL they were cooking chicken goujons and pizza, so looks like minimum rations haven't kicked in yet.

I think that was from the luxury shopping and everyone had just thought they might as well go for it, before BB took it all away again as a result of Lily’s initial rule break. Pretty sure Nathan and BP were eating a pizza. The rations would surely kick in as soon as the shopping was delivered?

He didn't seem to mind when he swapped out hanah and Lily for Khaled and Marcello.

When Khaled had to do it, he chose the fairest way at least, keeping who the housemates had chosen.

@DwarfBeans I do think Marcello demonstrates a lot of toxic masculinity (although has toned it down a lot from the first couple of weeks) so it's not a massive stretch that he'd also make homophobic comments.

Agree with @JaneJeffer that they should have addressed it head on as otherwise it does leave people (me!) wondering what was said, even to know that Dean misunderstood him perhaps.

I don't like Emma nasty side for sure.
Nathan should have gone.
