I love the euphemism of "we're a fast production" - what that really means is "we are working on a 2p budget and just don't have the resources for multiple takes".

I have been an extra on a big budget movie where the two directors spent a good hour debating lighting and mood and motivation while we all stand around getting overtime, and also on a BBC drama (not Doctors) where an entire pursuit through a hospital was filmed in about 10 minutes.

I hope Ian got to take home the Robot in his house.

I wonder if they did take souvenirs?

Al's glasses aren't actually prescription. . I expect Ian has a lot of spare pairs Grin.

Elisabeth showed her Z mug in her kitchen when she was interviewed this morning.

LIZS · 14/11/2024 14:59

Elisabeth said earlier she has Zara's shiny Z mug ( which she bought!)

martinisforeveryone · 14/11/2024 14:59

I wish they'd asked all the actors if they'd return to the role if it was picked up again?

Raahh · 14/11/2024 14:59

It's not fair!!!

Claymydia · 14/11/2024 15:00

😢😢😢😢😢

Raahh · 14/11/2024 15:00

I'm glad Elisabeth has her mug Grin

MadisonAvenue · 14/11/2024 15:00

LIZS · 14/11/2024 15:01

If uanddrama have any know how they will reschedule so that Classic Doctors is at 2pm!

Raahh · 14/11/2024 15:01

I'm going to pretend it's just the summer break.

And it will be back.
In a couple of months. Sad

One of my favourite comedy lines ever, which is always been quoted in this house, was from Mum. Did anyone watch Mum?

The crochety in laws were left in to wait for the delivery of a new washing machine and when he was told the time window he just said 'What? When Doctors is on?' and do you know what, our doorbell went just as Rob and Ruhma were about to kiss. Luckily I could send someone else to answer it 😀

SUBisYodrethwhenLarping · 14/11/2024 15:04

I never knew the reason it was called THE MILL

What programme was Elizabeth interviewed on?

ExquisiteIyDecorated · 14/11/2024 15:04

I haven’t been watching the classic ones (I don’t actually watch much TV) but might have to start now.

JoanChitty · 14/11/2024 15:04

Grin Dh always knew not to talk to me when it was on- and he was warned not to sit with me today (he works from home, and he did threaten to watch!).Shock Grin

I was watching the Amazon delivery site thinking- don't you dare deliver now.

The BBC mid morning show, the one that’s on after Breakfast. She was interviewed around 10.20

They’ve removed series 1-3 from catch up but they are on YouTube until the BBC find them and get them removed.

What are you talking about? I don’t understand what I have missed.

ExquisiteIyDecorated · 14/11/2024 15:06

When we got our cat I remember joking on here that she was named after The Mill (Millie the Doctors themed cat, she actually came from the rescue with the name). She sat and cuddled me all the way through today.
