You must sing it along to the tune or it won't work.

On a completely unrelated note, I thought I'd imagined how awful Emma's tank-top type thing was in the episode where they have the melty hug or whatever it was called. I hadn't. She's really attractive but her style is so hit-and-miss!

Edited

It looks really cosy Grin

Tittat50 · 27/10/2024 12:32

@Todaywasbetter yes that's correct.

I won't be able to see you in my practice though.

I'll invoice you for my insights thus far treacle.

Tittat50 · 27/10/2024 12:34

I will retract what I said ref NPD. Instead I shall say

Alex is a cunt

Hope that helps

Todaywasbetter · 27/10/2024 12:43

Yes it does. thank you for the honesty. Appreciated

Tittat50 · 27/10/2024 12:47

I genuinely understand the confusion regarding Alex but I think this is important to drop in.

Interesting to see there are wider concerns about Alex.

I mean we the viewers. It's obvious to me that Alex is abusive. His abuse has been called out by Sacha and he has gone into a full on campaign to try to isolate her. He's so scary that Holly is terrified to talk to him away from the cameras.

I dont think anyone is saying that women can't be abusive too. Eve was also an obvious abuser.

Edited

I mean you can't honestly talk for anyone else.

I don't see that, when Alex was apologising to people around the table the look on Sasha's face had "I'm furious you aren't alienating yourself & reintroducing yourself to the group", she was mad as hell. Deeply insecure, I'd say more so than Alex by far. And the way she wants her man to behave like a neanderthal, shit stirring just so he'll protect her just like her daddy is frankly not just further bullying behaviour but also manipulative & narcissistic. Pol pot. Don't get me started on her.

How about Refuge? The obvious main source of the post, which you know full well I was referencing. Is that source ok for you?

Do you want to just come out with it and call us racist because methinks this is what it's about.

Nextdoor55 · 27/10/2024 14:48

wrongthinker · 26/10/2024 21:21

He's just a bit of a child I'm not intimidated by that sort of behaviour. He just needs listening to & explaining just like a child.

Sorry but if I was in a room with an angry two year old in the body of a massive bloke, I'd be terrified.

I have no idea why you're defending Alex after witnessing his behaviour towards the women. It sounds like you feel you need to take his side against the women.

Well no I'm giving an honest opinion. I find the girls there hugely intimidating & just about every single red flag in a person I'd want to avoid.
It seems to me that they're the sort of group you'd have to agree unspoken rules within, & any group of people who give any sort of expectation to for example, dislike someone I've found you need to keep a very wide berth Indeed.
Yeah I don't find him scary. I see the behaviour of the girls much much worse than his.

Just because everyone is piling on doesn't mean everyone will follow suit, that's exactly what is happening with the girls on this programme & it's toxic. That would be like you for example, expecting that everyone should agree with your opinion just because you've read it in the sun newspaper & happen to think it's right.
They're as bad as each other, except Sasha. She's a cut above in her ways of manipulation

So you've read the post from refuge then have you? The tweet isn't about the couple but also about the entire programme management, who as it happens has just one single complaint about Alex. Which they responded to personally. Was probably Hollie who complained.
I really don't think it's right to just fall over when someone says I'm scared of xyz person. She's on the telly & she's an attention seeker

Tittat50 · 27/10/2024 14:59

@Nextdoor55 you're just avoiding obvious things pointed out to you now. Refuge was the source, but you're doing an Alex on us and ignoring it
Womens Aid have also flagged concerns. It's if no importance to me which gutter rag references what these organisations are themselves posting.

The Polpot/Holly contingent have been bullies. I don't think any one of us here missed that point. Have you followed the thread?

If you were bullied by people like Pol pot I totally understand why you're bothered more by them. That's fine if you feel that way.

I believe you think this is about race along with other posters.

Were you the same poster getting into a huge debate on the feminist board over womens bullying being worse than men's physical violence towards women?

Tittat50 · 27/10/2024 15:05

How I hark back to the carefree days of inflated Ming, shrike Hannah memes and Shitlid fantasies.

dapsnotplimsolls · 27/10/2024 15:08

Alex and that group of women are all horrible in some way. They should all have been called out and we haven't seen that. What we have seen is the so-called ixperts praising Alex, when he's actually being manipulative and trying to isolate Sasha.

dapsnotplimsolls · 27/10/2024 15:09

I hope Alex and Holly leave but I've got a nasty feeling he'll say stay.

Donttellempike · 27/10/2024 15:11

People who go on programmes deserve no protection and if they complain of being scared have only themselves to blame. Is that it?

Absolutely disgusting

Tittat50 · 27/10/2024 15:13

They are the most animated out of all the couples so I wonder how far Producers go to encourage at least one to stay. They must be manipulating that as there's too high a risk everyone would leave and we'd have no show. Although the quest for insta fame is strong.

It feels very strange this season. It has always had people on there who shouldn't be given a platform but this one's weird.

CabraCadabra · 27/10/2024 15:19

I had a dream last night where the ixperts said Emma was autistic. Then it came out everyone on the show was neurodivergent and it was more an experiment on the public to show that you can't always see disabilities and shouldn't judge. I do have very odd dreams though!

It's really important that The Sun are writing about this. A lot of women in violent and/or abusive situations don't get their information from the likes of The Guardian. But their mum or their friend or they themselves might read it and realise it's the same as their own relationship. I also have a faint hope that some men might learn about it and change their ways.

I'm a huge fan of the message being important and snobbery about the medium doesn't help anyone.

Personally, I believe Alex is an abuser and he's gaslighting Sacha. She behaved badly towards him but he deliberately provoked her. Polpot and the other witches may be schoolgirl bullies, but they haven't grown up and these tactics can terrify vulnerable people. Their behaviour encourages other women to join in because it's a well-known pattern.

Frankly I am surprised that the experts haven't publicly pulled up Polpot or Alex about their behaviour. However I'm not surprised because bullies change their behaviour to be model citizens when the group complain, making out their victims are the bullies.

Tittat50 · 27/10/2024 15:33

Yes I agree with that. The Sun are gutter level yet the point made is very valid.

I don't understand why they didn't pull up Polpot/Holly at the time they were their most hideous. Another message that is being ignored by the ixperts.

Devillishlooloo · 27/10/2024 15:42

The so called ixperts and the producers have a duty of care. They are failing miserably in that duty.

How come we can see what Alex is about, yet they can’t?

I also want to know what happened between Ryan and whatshername. That was swept right under the table by Mel just saying they’ve left.

Erm sorry but that sounds a lot like linking neurodivergence to abusive behaviours? Maybe not the intent...

For God’s sake it was a dream! This thread has become ridiculous.

Tittat50 · 27/10/2024 18:01

I had a dream that this thread caused my head to explode like a nuclear bomb.

After my head exploded, the fragments of Tittat's brain thought, 'doesn't that explosion look just like 4kids' fooked up bulb head'.

And then I got arrested for all the hurt's caused.
