The rest of the thread title

"For it's not easy to not get lipsed on the down low without someone getting lippy. Casper is still dying of cringe and Shitlid sees no way out. For we are all scrambling for our dignity, whilst watching the utter mockery"

It was a joint effort by us all.

I'm not sure having kids as a teen has stunted Holly. If anything, it forces most to grow up.

It is so sad about Kristine she hasnt had more help woth her PMDD it is very very very intense. I don't know if Kierien will stick about long term once the lust settles down and real life happens.

Ryans shaking on the sofa was terrifying. He looks like he was ready to pounce Steven wow.

Awful lot of pent-up anger with Ryan, I think they need to keep a close eye on him. Just as well Stephen's gone but he'll probably turn it on to anyone else who dares look at Sionainn...

Teeh · 22/10/2024 15:39

Could the throwing something at the wall have been Alex, but edited to look like Ross? Unlikely I know

SilentSheldon · 22/10/2024 15:41

Sasha seems super immature very - puppy love is the impression I get from their "marriage".

I agree that Sasha was overly idealistic re her pretend marriage. She wants what her folks clearly seem to have.

I disagree that she is super immature. She was the only one who called Alex out for his shit and while there were mutterings of support, no one backed her with the same strength.

She was strong. And principled.

And right.

SilentSheldon · 22/10/2024 15:56

And this, if you’ll indulge me repeating myself, from the last thread. (In response to comments of Sasha dressing scantily/being all over Ross and questioning why they are not having sex).

Sasha can wear what she likes while simultaneously keeping her hand on her tuppence.

Not that I do, but I could flap my tatas about twenty ways till Sunday and it does not make me obliged to service anyone.

More so a pretend husband I’ve known less than a month.

Fuck. That. Shit.

murasaki · 22/10/2024 15:58

Agreed with it there, agree with it here.

dapsnotplimsolls · 22/10/2024 16:00

What's the task tonight? All I remember from the preview is Sasha and Ross arguing.

Waterboatlass · 22/10/2024 16:01

I'm an episode behind, it'll be such a treat having a double catch up tonight!!

SilentSheldon · 22/10/2024 16:03

I have commented on the outfits and my dislike of some of them. Some I wouldn’t be seen dead in and some haven’t been overly flattering - despite being on someone half the size of me.

However. I will defend to the ends of the bastard earth for women to wear what they like without men expecting their Nat King just because the women has showed some leg or breast.

It is not an open invitation or obligation.

TitsInAbsentia · 22/10/2024 16:16

Just watched and need to go back and read all the posts from last night but just popped in to say Richelle is an arsehole!

I think i saw something about things I love and hate about you. Designed as ever, to set the cats amongst the insecure and defensive pigeons.

Telling your other half what you hate about them? Is this a psychologist approved method of strengthening a relationship?

Given the qualifications of the
ixperts can be written on the back of a postage stamp, I'd say no. It may be like and dislike rather than love and hate, but it did seem to be positive and negative.

Not all couples seem to do the same task at the same time though, so who knows.

changingchaali · 22/10/2024 16:25

@Sunshineandrainbow I have a pair but they are red. They can be found in most Afro hair shops or even on Etsy search "Afro comb earrings " 😉

murasaki · 22/10/2024 16:28

As I forgot to turn the channel over, the afternoon rerun is on. Must gondo something productive.

Blimey, Gaston was about to have an Alan Partridge 'the boys are out of the barracks ' moment the way he was sitting open legged in those shorts.

I guess the stick and twist/who's the most attractive covered that., without having to place someone at the bottom of the pile so a mild improvement.

changingchaali · 22/10/2024 16:49

I've just caught up and Richelle and Polly are really horrible, how on earth they have friends is beyond me.

But I was also thinking imagine seeing your best friend (who you believe is lovely/funny/supportive/caring) on this programme and the editing has made them out to be a loud mouth, insensitive cow. Makes me wonder what their friends and family feel about them watching it back

I try to give the benefit of the doubt some of the time because "the edit" but when someone is saying some deeply unkind and unpleasant stuff you're left to thinking that it really doesn't matter what nice shit they say and what is going on behind the scenes that we don't know about.

I that reality TV likes to create villains and to a lesser extent heroes but wrt Orson and Richelle I can't figure out for the life of me why they'd want to hide the fact that he is in fact the most awful arsehole on the face of the earth. Worse than Alex, more likely to explode with rage than Ryan seems to be. It doesn't add up at all. Plus, she's been one of the most verbally aggressive and downright nasty people I've ever seen on reality TV although I'll admit not to watching a lot of it in recent years. It's beyond me that the ixperts didn't shut her down last night. She was allowed to be verbally abusive over and over again even when it was his turn to speak she was interrupting him. I'm glad she's gone because there was nothing even remotely amusing or likeable about her and her constantly blaming Orson for her not going home for her daughter's birthday. Oh my fucking days! Whether she was in it for the fame, the money or both, she stayed for herself. Why did he want to stay when he knew she hated him? Why did she want to stay when she knew she hated him. She decided to miss her daughter's birthday for her own damn reasons so fuck her inablity to own her own decisions and fuck her again for taking up too much of my headspace which is all her fault and not mine for chosing to watch the utter shitstorm that is MAFS. That's right, I've just done a Richelle!

SilentSheldon · 22/10/2024 17:51

@changingchaali

I suspect their friends and family will not recognise Polly or Richelle.

While there is no denying the more vicious outbursts - you can’t edit what you don’t say - I wonder what we have not seen that has provoked such a response. Or what has been whispered into ears to stir the pot.

We can all be nippy. We can all say things we regret. Personally? I don’t think Polly and Richelle are the absolute villains they’ve been touted as. I’m not saying they are perfect, or indeed sweetness and light either.

The only women I would care to befriend are Emma, Kristina and Sasha. Decent women who have been true to themselves and strong enough to not fall for the appalling manipulation.

SilentSheldon · 22/10/2024 17:55

The one thing that will seriously pee me off is that if the ‘I believe in love’ sofa dwelling ixperts want to give Hanna and Orson their ‘right’ to have a shot of love.

I won't be surprised if they do. Can't see them lasting long.

dapsnotplimsolls · 22/10/2024 17:59

Emma's probably a great friend. I suspect she's irritating when nervous or uncomfortable, as in ... this.
