Maybe Graham had someone in mind to take over from Kirsty ? That's why he got rid of Kirsty.

Raahh · 01/10/2024 14:14

Yup- magic mushrooms.

Raahh · 01/10/2024 14:16

Well, you did piss Kirsty off, Graham. Or she might have made you coffee.

Sid next on his hit list then!

Raahh · 01/10/2024 14:18

Oh- the ultrasound that Princess broke.

Raahh · 01/10/2024 14:19

Would everyone get this treatment- a scally from the Churchill? Or would he just call the police to let them 'sober up'.

Raahh · 01/10/2024 14:23

Dealing with the devil, Sid.

Raahh · 01/10/2024 14:25

I knew he would take over Sid's room.

LIZS · 01/10/2024 14:27

Why are they short of rooms? What happened to Heston and Daniel's, or Emma's come to that?

Raahh · 01/10/2024 14:33

LIZS I don't think they are- i think it's just Graham trying to exert control, and Sid is next.

He's a snake.

Allthehorsesintheworld · 01/10/2024 14:35

Rob is looking wistful. Soooo sweet.
Graham adds ageism to his other isms but Rosie is useful to make his coffee because she’s a receptionist and a woman.

ceecee32 · 01/10/2024 16:18

I want Ruhmas coat as well. Does anyone know know where its from please x

lazarusb · 01/10/2024 17:49

Graham's a real snake in the grass isn't he? Hopefully all the people that haven't had good gut feelings about him will get together and get him out.

It might be quite nice if the programme finishes with Rob and Ruhma getting together.

Ruhma has never been one of my favourite characters, but I would actually quite like it if she got together with Rob now. I think it's because over the past few years there have been so many awful characters Grin she is now looking not that bad! And Rob deserves a happy ending (not sure what Karen would have made of it though!).

I agree - I probably wouldn't be keen on them as a long term prospect but as Doctors is ending...

Raahh · 01/10/2024 18:16

Yes, I probably only don't mind because it is ending. They have become quite a sweet double act.

They have. And I suppose its a good storyline to show Rob moving on....And is perhaps quite frequent - widows and widowers getting together - although both are relatively young.

socialdilemmawhattodo · 01/10/2024 18:25

PS I miss Holby too. Casualty has NOT filled that slot at all. I do wonder if the BBC will suddenly next year decide to introduce a new series set in a hospital. I mean it is one of the most popular drama locations.

Raahh · 01/10/2024 18:29

I loved Holby, Social it was how I knew it was Tuesday Grin. I actually cried when it ended Blush.

It would be difficult to bring it back in some ways, given the way they very comprehensively killed off Jac, she was such a major character. Not really sure how they can bring someone back from being a multiple organ donor!

Binglebong · 01/10/2024 19:05

I can remember when Holby started and it was just a heart ward. I can still remember a story about a patient finding she was pregnant and slowly realising her friend was drugging and raping her when he came over.

Then it became a general ward and got more soapy so I lost interest.

Me too. For years my ex would come in late from work, but on a Tues night he knew. After 8pm Wave hello, say nothing, offer a glass of wine and disappear!
That was an incredible well done, emotional final episode. I cried. It was so hard to say goodbye. Over 20 years.

I don't feel the same about Doctors. But it filled a good gap. A bit like Neighbours.

OCaledonia · 01/10/2024 20:14

I think Graham might have another ism..racism perhaps. He's definitely angling at getting rid of Sid.

OCaledonia · 01/10/2024 20:15

I have grown to enjoy the episodes with Ruhma, too. As long as she's not busy patronising (matronising?) women in labour.

Binglebong · 01/10/2024 20:24

On Facebook someone suggested he may not be qualified to do surgery and will foul something up badly enough to get the place closed down/sued.

Raahh · 02/10/2024 14:05

Is Rosie actually going to be doing any work today?

Raahh · 02/10/2024 14:06

I missed the first couple of minutes so not sure what is going on.
