Yes the dress was quite nice. But what on earth were those things byron and haz were wearing round their necks?! A piece of shoe lace with a weird metal thing... looked awful, and not in line with anything I've ever seen them wear before.

So v glad Nell decided to go to Colac, and they haven't gone down a ridiculous route of her staying in erinsborough with an ex step mum who she only actually liked for 6 months.

They looked like those things cowboys wear. Not sure the name of them or why they have any relevance here!

I still feel like she’s going to stay but just because we need a teen girl and Terese will be knocking about that house all on her own.

Also great cast for Haz’s parents. They really look like him. Priya is clearly adopted 😂

Well fingers crossed she just comes down for a week a month or something so we don't have to deal with her wobbly voice, half shut eyes 'acting' too much.

I'm expecting Toadie to have a last minute 'realisation' that he can't rip Nell away from all she's ever known and entrust her to Therese, thus creating a reason for him to bob back every few years a la Harold.

I've just binge watched after a couple of weeks away - surprisingly quick to get through a couple of weeks!

The Nicolette story - I knew that would come up again at some point but it seems to be a huge over reaction to a list, which to be honest, was all true. I mean yes Aaron was grieving but he did go off drinking and drug taking, it's only natural for the other parent of a child to note concerns. I don't remember any plans for her to run off with Isla like they are all claiming. But for her own mother to kick her out, and then her business partner to push her into a silent partnership (I'm sure that's not legally possible) all seems OTT.

Disappointing how it seems Toadie's exit is going to happen. We've been with Toadie for 30 years, and I get the character needing a change, but I was hoping for something more than just limping off to Colac to live with his family that he's barely spent any time with. I'm really disappointed with what they've done with Toadie over the past year, the scriptwriters have basically spent a year gradually turning him into someone unlikable and very removed from who he was. At least we are seeing the end of Nell, though if she was recast with someone who can act it would be good to have her back later on.

The wedding! I loved the wedding, I really loved Mackenzie's dress! I'm happy we get to keep Trevor!

Also, I was really hoping Melanie would take on the coffee shop. She's run it before, she's the obvious choice!

Could this not yet happen? She could be employed by Lassiters to manage the coffee shop, with her fruity cocktails as a side venture.

Yes it could still happen, I hope it does, she would be great as the manager, chatting to all of the customers.

Also disappointed with toadies exit story. It’s a shame that someone iconic has been turned into this blithering fool who can’t work out what he’s doing and everyone has lost respect for him. Not a fitting exit at all.
also couldn’t work out why Harold walked Mac down the aisle, I can’t remember their relationship developing to this extent ever

I went to Ryan Maloneys (toadies) tour, toad on the road recently. He says he’s got no plans to keep returning once he leaves later this month, he says he is leaving for good, and his tour is a goodbye to his fans... do hope he changes his mind though. Won’t be the same neighbours without him!

@Misspacorabanne Oh I really wanted to see his show but there wasn't one near enough to me on a suitable day. Was it good? What else did he talk about?

@HoHoHoliday it was brilliant! Lots of stories about previous and current story lines, his auditions, how he got into acting, other cast he’s worked with etc.
He spoke a lot about his mental health, and how he really wanted to cover the mental health story line, and he pushed for that with producers as an exit storyline, ie the breakdown.
He says that he wants to direct now, but directing at neighbours will not be long term, apparently a few episodes is all he will be doing, but he’s hoping to move on to directing other things in the future.
He says he has no plans to return at all, but he said that once your contract ends at Neighbours, they can use the actor for another five days if needed. He was quite firm in stating that he has no plans to return at all after those five days.
He showed off his acting skills, danced and sang too! Had the audience laughing one minute with his jokes and funny stories, and almost crying the next. It was really good!

@Misspacorabanne Thanks! Ahh that sounds brilliant. Him struggling with mental health in real life and pushing for that as his exit storyline makes it a lot more personal. I'm glad they let him do what he wanted.

I agree with you all! I thought Mac's dress was much nicer than that hideous butterfly thing from last time, and I wondered wtf they didn't cover the hideous mole 😂 Toadie should definitely have walked her down the aisle. He took her in and they were family. Harold just butts into everything.

I still think Nell might stay with Therese, although I hope not.

That was the least convincing toddler tantrum I’ve ever seen. And if he can’t handle that he’s got no hope!!

I hope Nicolette doesn’t let Aaron adopt Isla. He’s already being a dick, imagine if he had parental rights. This storyline is making me want to smack Jane in the face.

Aw I thought Isla was quite good. I think she’s out acting some of the grown ups 😂

Not only did Nicolette stop the crying in 5 seconds but had her out cold so she could leave the room. Must have drugged her. It’s mad that Aaron and Jane are still being firm on this and Aaron is being petty and cold about the school stuff. Jane gives my pick me, misogyny vibes like she just wants to please men all the time.

Also the drama around Terese but 2 minutes later she’s sat up fine in hospital. They really are just pushing through plots! She could have at least been looking unwell!

Definitely agree on Toadie turning into quite an irritating character so interesting to know about his own mental health battles. I met him MANY moons ago in Australia on the neighbours night .

I may have got to the 'talking at the Telly' level of annoyed with Aaron and Jane this morning 😂😂! Who do they think they are? How is Aaron surprised that a little girl would want her mum? And getting his boxers in a bunch about ice cream? He's is for a rough ride if he can't handle the worlds least tantrummy of tantrums.

New titles are on today's episode so that's not a spoiler. Where are they in the first few scenes? We don't really see them on the beach or in the city!

It was weird.. that build up to wade doing something and then it was just Terese with a mild concussion. What a let down. I thought toadie might die as a plot twist to him leaving, leaving Nell and Hugo with Terese. Or Mac and Haz might be injured, delaying their plans to leave. Or JJ would be injured and Felix would rush in and save him, making him a hero. But no, just Terese with perfect make up, sitting up in bed.
I found it really strange that someone phoned Andrew to tell him the car had been found crashed yet whoever that was (assume police?) didn’t stay with Terese and the car till Andrew arrived. They just left?

Yep. Or toadie. And the whole Harold and JJ friendship thing feels stupid to me. Feels like the writers are trying to give Harold connections to everyone to keep him relevant and it’s just annoying. Although I might be being a bit unfair as I dislike Harold. I know, I know, he’s a legend etc but ive never liked him or his bumbling “aah” (with his finger to his mouth) overacting and don’t understand the love for him
