Speculation time! Could it be that Mac and Haz both return in this Haz is visiting Trevor plot but then decide to stay. They rent Terese’s house once all this Darcy business is over? Like would they come back because it’s ending and they need work.?

After today’s ep I’m looking forward to this Darcy plot climax. It feels close and I don’t want it dragging on.

I was thinking when Darcy is eventually found out and disappears, then Terese will take her own house back because Paul and Chelsea will probably be getting together.

I'm going to say it now. If Paul leaves Therese for Chelsea then neighbours deserves to end. They can't do that to them after all the on again, off again, will they, won't they we have had to endure over many years. Paul and Therese should be end game.

The older Paul and I get, the more I like him! I’ve missed years of his appalling behaviour, though, but I feel as if we have both softened in our old age! I really don’t want him to go off with Chelsea. I hark back to the days of Rebecca, I think it was? She was lovely with him. I also liked one of his first wives (he has had so many, I’ve lost count!), Gail.

I lol'd at Karl googling how much the necklace cost. Susan has the patience of a saint.

I really cannot be bothered with reliving that wedding again though. I don’t understand why we need to see the photos. I’m guessing something significant will happen but if it’s for no reason I will be annoyed.

Lately I’ve been doing that thing whereby I fast forward through the things I’m not interested in. I think I saw about 2 minutes of yesterday’s episode - certainly, any time Darcy appears, I reach for the remote. Ditto Wendy, to be honest. And Paul/Chelsea/Thomas/Therese is like watching a car crash.

Well I got it wrong about the dating app! But I am enjoying this storyline. The whole ‘Wendy becoming an amazing teacher only to work in the cafe’ was dull but it’s nice that Wendy and Hot Rod have a juicy storyline together. Could happily do without Nicolette though.

Oh Susan… First it was Finn Kelly, now it’s Darcy. She does so easily get taken in by these baddies.

Jane and her mother are off to the Dandenongs. I wonder if we will get a few ‘on location in nice scenery’ episodes. Perhaps her mother will wander off in a memory lapse and get lost and there’ll need to be a search.

A random flashback - I remember Helen Daniels always talked about how she enjoyed painting in the Bungle Bungles, but I don’t think we ever saw her there, and to this day I still don’t know what it’s like there. But in the 80s the idea of a place called Bungle Bungle sounded so magical to me! Off to google the Bungle Bungles now…

I keep thinking old Nicolette would never be friends with Wendy. She might have inappropriate latched on to help with the dating app thing but it would be a lot more aggressive and may not have involved Wendy at all until she has “proof” but would then be accused of trying to flirt with a married man on apps. I miss old Nicolette. This one has gone from lounging like a cat to being the dumb 30 something who doesn’t really get stuff right like an older version of Holly but with less sex. Not a sharp, determined, Machiavellian character.
