I like that Leo was lovely to Nell. Although I was partly hoping he and Krista would miss the call and just fuck off never knowing.

@MiddleClassProblem When I was watching I thought to myself, if we were nearer “the end” that would have been a great way to write them out whilst leaving a cliff hanger in case anyone else picks up the show in future.

I also loved that Leo was so sweet with Nell. Anything to stop her gurning is a win in my book.

It's a bit of a shame really that it's ending again as now there are no annoying Americans in it, I've really enjoyed it lately. Although Chelsea is nearly as annoying as the random Americans.

I want to know what Darcy is up to, he's obviously scheming and not just the side hustle with Terese.
Also I wish he'd wash his hair, it looks very greasy

I really like the addition of Eirini Rising when the residents get storylines. I like that some of the street residents have jobs that generate storylines - brings in that community feel.
I was still hoping Steph would come back after they randomly mentioned the Flame Tree a few months ago.

I think they did? From what it sounded like at the time, him having to leave due to his diagnosis was all very sudden.

I think when Anne Charleston was invited back the intention must always have been to keep her in, that’s why she’s a new character rather than the ghost of Madge, which has popped up several times over the years.

I’m enjoying Darcy’s secret plotting. There’s going to be something big coming from that and I’m sure it will involve Karl and Susan!

I noticed on the end credits that today’s episode was written by Gemma Bird Matheson - Kiri. Never pay much attention to the credits so not sure if she’s a regular writer.

Oh that’s really interesting. They do seem good at giving people different opportunities although maybe she was already a writer.

Maybe the New Madge will leave again to be with Harold after their blossoming friendship via letters means he no longer thinks of her as Old Madge. Though I'd her to stay.

Have to say (...again, probably) that I think Remi is a really good actress. Streets ahead of her wife. I hope she goes on to have a Hollywood career like some of the others.

So I assumed the baby in hospital story was going to be the perfect way for it to be revealed that Paul can't be the father (wrong blood type for a transfusion or something). But the clip at the end of today's episode has me thinking that maybe dodgy IT guy did the dna results swap on his own without actually telling Chelsea.
