I have just trawled through Paul’s wiki page. It was Nick Petrides. But doesn’t say how he is linked to any of the other characters.

gus Cleary was mentioned. He died in a fire that Paul lit.

I was watching old neighbours yesterday. From 2014. Amber Josh Nate Georgia Sheila Naomi Harold.
i was surprised how many characters had disappeared. Only Paul Terese Susan and Karl still present.

And how young they all looked only 11 years ago! And the actors ages then was approx mid to late 50s! It’s making me not look forward to my next decade!

Today's episode was lovely. Must have been quite a difficult one to film in the circumstances.

I’ve also just watched today’s episode. I wasn’t expecting the Harold stuff so soon. The flashbacks, and the music on the end credits has cut me up a bit! I hope there is more to come, at least a wave off, but I’m guessing they pulled the filming together with such urgency it’s understandable if not. Bless you Harold ❤️

Things I wasn't expecting to do today: Full on cry at Neighbours! That was a very sweet send off and I don't even like Harold. Although ending the episode with that weird Chelsea Darcey Paul triangle was a bit jarring.

What was the urgency for Harold leaving?

The actor's health.

Ian Smith has lung Cancer and was given months to live, so this was all filmed very quickly at the end of last year.

Although his tumour has since shrunk as he's responded to therapy so has been given about another year, obviously he's going to be spending that time with his family.

That’s so sad. But good to hear he’s been given another year. Today’s episode was so sad, I wish there was a proper wave to send him off. Felt odd to just cut the scene and turn to Paul and the others. Chelsea is definitely scheming as is Darcy.

It’s been nice having Carl, Susan, Jane, Paul, Terese & Harold all in the same scenes as so often recently a couple of them are missing.

Loved all the flashbacks when Harold was leaving. Brought a tear to my eye!

I was right about Cara joining the police! Though I was only joking when I mentioned it.

With Cara in the police, Wendy now a teacher, Byron back on law, we could have had some nice job-related storylines. A shame again that it’s ending just as they seem to be picking up.
