I can't work out where Piper would have been between "dying" and being handed over to new owner. If she was at the vets surely one of the other vets would have noticed!

Yes I wondered this too! Surely she would have been spotted if at the vets or Jimmys house?!

I hope Belle and Piper are somehow reunited. I hope they're not gonna drag it out until Christmas and I hope Tom gets Dingle justice!

Sadly like much of Emmerdale these days.

I'm getting really tired of the whole thing now. Tom and his pantomime side-eye villain look, Belle being strong and fierce for all of 30 seconds then crumbling and looking uncertain the moment he starts (very obviously) manipulating her for the millionth time. Despite knowing he is telling people she is mad, she persists in shouting accusations at and about him rather than trying to remain calm and explain coherently what is and has been happening. Also, get a sodding house alarm!!

Her utterly useless family and friends, an absolute bunch of dopes who, despite knowing her since the day she was born, are swayed so easily by a man they have known for 5 minutes, a man she has clearly expressed her fear of, knowing her whole personality has changed since she got married.

I'm sick of all of them and wish the bloody storyline would hurry up and finish.

The only one I actually care about now is Piper, I hope her new family adore her, she is utterly fabulous!

Between Belle in this and Lauren in Corrie not being believed, the soaps are very depressing atm. Some good episodes and then some really bad ones

The thing is that the Dingles have known him for years and he caused them so much trouble before that they can't suddenly think he's sound and that Belle must be mistaken about him. Shame Cameron didn't off him while he was at it.

Maybe we're going to have a "heart-warming" Christmas episode where Piper returns for Belle's birthday after Tom has got what's coming to him.

@JaneJeffer Ah, I had thought Tom only appeared relatively recently and got together with Belle. I hadn't realised (or had forgotten!) that the Dingles knew him previously.

Can't watch so depending on the thread to find out what is happening

Ella punched Wendy for no reason but I did like the scene with Laurel, Gabby and Nicola
