I can't understand what made Belle suddenly realise it was Tom who killed Piper. Have I missed something?

Also at the risk of being told off as it was I who started the whole Sky debate! We have finally cancelled our contract after what must be 15 years using the same HD box. They weren't happy and tried everything to persuade us to stay but the final straw was them not being able to install the new box until Oct. So they've lost out.
Now, my question is we can get on itxv to watch Emmerdale and BBC iplayer but how do we get the TV guide? My DF has a TV guide on his freeview but he says he has an aerial. I thought that was in the old days!

Your Sky box should/may still work as a freesat box, and you'd have a channel guide with that.

Your TV may have an integrated Freeview or Freesat tuner (or both, my 10yo Samsung has), so you'd connect the aerial or satellite feed, select the input source and run the auto-tune to pick up the channels. Again both would have a channel guide.

If the above don't work then you can buy a Freesat or Freeview tuner box, which would again need a satellite or aerial feed. I think the newer ones also have an Internet connection and allow you to stream the apps aswell. You'd get the channel guides with these.

It's different where I am @BooseysMom but as @Chasingsquirrels says your Sky box should still pick up the free to air channels if it has not completely stopped working and those will come with a tv guide.

DH managed to move our rusty dish a bit and it's picking up the signal much better now and I watched Emmerdale without interruption last night. We still need to try and get hold of them because I don't know if it will last the winter!

I also thought that Piper would make a miraculous recovery and that Tom would be seen as the saviour and Belle would take him back. I think something clicked with her that all the incidents involving the dog were followed by Tom claiming she shouldn't be on her own as her mental health would suffer and she just put 2 and 2 together and worked out that the piece of shit was responsible.

I'm not sure what he meant by his threat at the end as the house is rented so no financial ties there. I know he stopped her working but she could easily go to the invisible Leyla and ask for her job back. He'll probably try to ostracise her from family and friends by playing the victim and by the look of Rhona and Amelia's reactions, he's part of the way there already.

Tom wouldn't let Rhona help with the disposal of little Piper and Belle couldn't bear to be present when he gave that fatal injection ( I get this as my past pets were euthanised after I left the surgery) so there's no real proof the dog is dead. Am hoping Piper is still alive but not convinced 😓
