Why the cone on Piper’s head? Surely that’s only needed when they have a surgical wound to stop them licking it and biting at the stitches. So did Tom and Rhona operate on her although there was nothing wrong with her apart from presumably sedated by Tom?

@JaneJeffer yes definitely, particularly with victims of domestic abuse who are controlled and likely to have their emails/post/phone messages read 🙄

If Belle suspects Tom is coming into the house I don't know why she doesn't move out, install an alarm and/or not leave her laptop lying around.

I've no idea how vets work , however surely Rhona would know if the dog was dead ? It would have to be recorded ? How did Tom find somebody to adopt a dog ?

@Jojoanna On our system we just tick a box to say deceased. Anyone can do this e.g. receptionist if a client calls to say a pet passed at home. Tom could tick this on the computer and then rehome her. He is probably able to destroy clinical notes considering he’s so vindictive meaning the microchip company didn’t need to be informed or he might have removed her microchip from her file at the vets and transferred ownership to new owners/placed a new chip.

So I missed last night's as the internet went down and we also have no live TV here as we live in a stupid area that picks up zero channels as signal is shit.
Caught up tonight. Omg, I did wonder if Piper was actually alive but was mostly convinced she wasn't and that the bastard had actually killed her.
I really hope all this comes out soon, I'm so pissed at Lydia, Sam etc not listening to Belle. So pleased she's finally gone to the police.

I think it’s only Tom saying he and Rhona worked on Piper through the night. I think Rhona just saw what he said was an injured dog. Didn’t she say she was going home but to shout if he needed her?

Thank you. I tried the auto tune but it wouldn't work. It's a 2 year old Hi- Sense so ought to! The Sky guide doesn't work any more in that you can't scroll along the programmes.

Thanks. The Sky guide is broken! I quite like the idea of buying an old-fashioned paper guide like the old days. My DM insisted on Radio Times and used to circle all the programmes she wanted to watch. I had What's on TV which was only 45p or something..now it's almost doubled! But that was 25 years ago that I last had it!!

Gosh wait til you find out how much the Radio Times is now ! TV Choice is the cheapest @ 79p but you can guarantee a spoiler for a soap on the front page each week.

I buy a TV guide most weeks even though I mostly just watch tennis  it costs €1.65 these days 🤨

It's really getting ridiculous now. Wasn't Rhona standing beside Tom when he told Belle they'd worked all night to save Piper. She must be a really shit vet if she didn't notice there was nothing wrong with the dog. I kept wishing Belle would lift the lid of the basket and see it wasn't Piper inside. I'm hoping she escapes from the new owners and makes her way back to the cottage. Then finally everybody will see that it was Tom all along.
So we're seriously meant to believe he lets himself into the house yet again unnoticed and miraculously guesses her new password - nobody would guess mine in a million years. Is that some sort of device to be able to see everything she does on the laptop?

It's really stretching credibility now.
