Me and Dh are running out of things to watch from this time. A

We have watched so far:

Fat friends - loved, probably more than the first time we watched it, when it came out.

The Booze Cruise 1, 2 and 3 - love these so much and gutted they didn't make more. Watched and loved them when they first came out.

Cutting It - watching just now and on series 3. Absolutely batshit crazy. We watched this first time around but couldn't mind anything about it.

Any other programs we should watch along the same lines?

I've been watching Silk with Maxine Peake after seeing it recommended on here. Loving it, don't know how I missed it first time round.

Where’s it on? I couldn’t find it when I looked for it.

A TV film from 2001 called Hot Money, stars Caroline Quentin as a downtrodden cleaner at the Bank of England who comes up with a plan to steal cash at the bank. It’s on YouTube.

Oh my god I remember this

Was brilliant

Bluebellsinthewind · 14/08/2024 19:45

@iloveshetlandponies you will need a YouTube account but it's free to watch stuff. Just type in the name of what you want to watch.

It's on Alibi, don't think I'd even heard of this channel. We've got a basic Sky package and I just did a search for Silk and it came up on that.

Chuffles · 15/08/2024 21:19

Highly recommend Bodies and The Cops (both available on iPlayer). And if you can track it down, State of Play (with John Simm & David Morrissey, not the US film version) was a brilliant bit of telly. Also loved Six Feet Under, but haven't seen that on any streaming platforms.

Mespher · 15/08/2024 22:21

Six Feet Under is on Now/Sky, loved that.

UK shows:
Wallander, Life on Mars, The Thick of It, Peep Show, One Foot in the Grave, Brookside, Rev,
No offence.

American shows:
Desperate Housewives, Brothers & Sisters (I only watched this for Rob Lowe, Calista Flockheart & Sally Fields also has the brilliant Matthew Rhys - it was so good, I think it's on Disney+) Nip Tuck, Madmen, Person of Interest.

Where to watch: Amazon Prime, BBC iPlayer, Disney+ and 4OD

Enjoy
