I like it too, but at 3 eps per series they don't overburden themselves, do they? I lived and worked near Bath for many years, so location spotting adds to the fun a bit.

My virginmedia says 2 tonight, 1 next week. So who knows! At least sky makes sense.

My tv mag doesn't give episodes on this at all [normally does] but has it listed as being on for two hours , so maybe it's a complete story .🤔

Why does British TV run so far behind? I realise I saw this episode months ago in Sweden.

(Midsomer Murders is running a year or more behind in the UK as well)

Enjoying this first episode, although I've only watched half as a two hour episode is too long for me to watch in one go!

My only quibble is the constant pouting that DCI Macdonald does!

I found this one dull, round and round in circles. Too much talking.
It didn't need to be two hours long.

They are too long, really. I can only tackle them if recorded, so I can FF through the ads, and even then, it's a bit of a slog. Haven't watched this one yet, may dip in later possibly.

I guessed it was the wife whodunnit but only because they arrested the husband so early in the programme and that never happens in dramas , as they like to keep us guessing .

I think it was too long too, 90 mins would have been enough .

I like the storylines, it's easy viewing, but I'd prefer much less of the lingering shots of McDonald's face with the same cold and contempteous expression.

Enjoyed it, maybe not my favourite episode ever, but looking forward to there being another 2.

This was a bit boring

I was a bit confused, the only 3 that was relevant was the one that got moved to the crime scene. So not sure what the door number 3 at the start was supposed to be about unless it was supposed to give you a heads up? I thought both of those and the fact the guy in the 80s was stabbed 3 times was all going to be relevant and the wife knew him and was getting revenge and leaving 3s everywhere deliberately!

I really like this usually but I thought this was very very slow and a bit underwhelming

So it was only the missing 3 meant he had gone through that room and 3 attached on his shoe etx
