I couldn’t see a new thread so thought I’d make one. Yup another boring one… Anyway looks like Konnor has bagged himself a Lollipop though I’m surprised the candyman didn’t get in there first (ugh). We haven’t had half as many games, the hideaway is perma open and no one’s going in there. No real discussions or code words around how the relationships are going on the chemistry front. What’s going on?

He said he thought Ayo was better suited to Mimii. And Jess needs too much reassurance. They were both not happy with how he behaved in Casa Amore. They both seemed big fans of Mimii.

Can we just take a moment to acknowledge Jessy made the exact same ahahah, to Joey, who is WHITE. That comment yesterday really annoyed me as I didn't get any unconscious bias/racism from it whatsoever. I actually thought it sounded more like she was speaking like a mum/primary school teacher, not like she was talking to a "dog". Just someone who has had enough of people speaking over her.

If the person who made that comment is white, I think that says more about them than anything.

@Picoloangel after meeting his family Ayo said to the camera something like it was great meeting Mimis family, I can’t remember the exact words, which some people further up thread also thought he had said or hadn’t said. To me it did sound like he mentioned Mimi when he was talking to the camera as I think after the conversation with his brother she was on his mind & it was a slight Freudian slip.

Was it Graces step dad I thought that was what they said but then when she jumped on him I wasn’t so sure.

Really thought Grace's dad was calling Joey over to call him out for disrespecting his daughter. What a M E L T melt. You can see how close he is to Grace... how on earth wasn't he furious, when so many of us are and we don't even know her?

Jessy's parents are amazing... at least they'll fight her corner.

I definitely heard Mimi at the time, but someon explainded it was a grammatical error or something. "me and..."

It was Graces Dad and Stepmum, I think.
They all seemed close.

I will watch the Ayo comment again, but think it's been explained. I didn't notice it at the time.

I’m actually mixed race & a primary school teacher & I wouldn’t speak to children in my class or my own children like that. Maybe you would, but I wouldn’t.

Yes I agree she went in at Joey too yesterday, but how she went in on Josh the night before surprised me and in my opinion (which can in fact differ to your own) did have racial undertones which someone else also previously mentioned.

I am not sure what heritage you are from and don’t particularly need to know but from what I saw surprised me & I now see her in a different light.

I just find it odd that someone would straight away point at skin colour rather than anything else and didn't appreciate the comparison to a dog.

Comments like that are very damaging and I don't think they should be loosely tossed about.

I agree that Grace’s Dad was dreadful greeting Joey like he did.

Joey looked quite sick when he saw Reuben getting along with Grace's family. God how I hope they get married and have lots of babies!

What mum/primary school teacher speaks to children like that. I've been a primary school teacher (and a mother) for two decades and I've never heard someone carrying on like that!

I was referring to the ah ah ah ah, comment that a PP specifically referred to. Not what she actually said after. Christ.

I thought Jessy’s finger pointing upwards and ah ah ah was quite restrained. If I had been in the villa I would have by this point told them both (and most of the other boys as they are all so awful) to shut the fuck up.

This was exactly my point regarding teacher/mum!

I loved how she told him how it was about him being the one who outed Mimii and wasn't covering it up at all.

I think she might feel she can curb his behaviour and mould him into a reasonable human being, but that's never going to happen. He thinks he's perfect with zero flaws.

I made the dog comparison and it’s exactly what I thought when I was watching. I wouldn’t necessarily expect someone who is not familiar with racial undertones to spot it though.

I like to give people the benefit of the doubt before I jump in and label them as something.

I saw on twitter people had rerun the footage and he says something like "me meeting her family" - so it's 2 'me's together sounding like Mimii.

I don’t think he had a chance of winning though, he has been bottom 3 in most of the votes and most people seem to be favouring Mimii.

@Picoloangel I really rooted for him and Mimi but his behaviour towards her after Casa was appalling and I’m glad that his brother called it out. Mimi deserves someone a million time better than Ayo. Even before Casa he talked in riddles and was never straight with her. He is weak and indecisive.
I agree. I’m personally not a fan of the way Ayo conducts relationships.
