I couldn’t see a new thread so thought I’d make one. Yup another boring one… Anyway looks like Konnor has bagged himself a Lollipop though I’m surprised the candyman didn’t get in there first (ugh). We haven’t had half as many games, the hideaway is perma open and no one’s going in there. No real discussions or code words around how the relationships are going on the chemistry front. What’s going on?

In season 1 didn't Callum Best pass the Love Island mantle over to the new cohort by taking them to a nightclub in Majorca so they could all cheat on their partners.

I miss the days of reality TV without standards.

In the original Celebrity Love Island circa 2004/6 they used to feature 'House Guests' who would come in for a week and stir up trouble.

They'd majorly flirt and cause friction between couples and could invite contestants to the 'Love Shack (Hideaway) overnight.

They wouldn't stay or could win. Their sole intention was to cause producers drama for a week .

Probably would have been a better fit for Joey.

I loved the original! The whole Abi Titmuss - Lee Sharpe - Jayne Middlemiss drama and Lee wanting only to be friends with JM. Jayne used to do yoga all of the time but it didn’t work! She was so obviously furious with Abi!

Has anyone watched Love Island USA yet this year? I’ve enjoyed it more than the UK version for the last two years and thinking I’ll start it when this crappy series wraps.

I started it yesterday and have been binge watching. It's so much better. The chats seem more genuine and it's a lot more lively.

Sean and Joey go from bad to worse.

I usually end up posting in the last week that they all seem fed up with each other, bad tempered and keen for it to be over...however, looking back, it seems to me that it's been bad tempered from the beginning.

There's been no real sense of 'fun' from any of them.

Agreed Sean and Joey are just awful.

They’re trying to slyly bully and gaslight Josh and then act all innocent, because they know they can’t confront him openly as he won’t stand for it.

Josh needs to stop agreeing to have chats with them, it’s going nowhere. They say they’ll drop it, then bring it up again.

Surprised Grace is defending Joey -. it wouldn’t be that if he’d made a dig against her. Lost a lot of respect for her and Jessy.

Sean is horrible.

Sean is trying to wind up Josh hoping he'll kick off and make Josh look bad. Joey's enjoying encouraging Sean to be an arse.

Josh handled that situation very well! Sean and Joey are doses. Sean is going to look like some idiot when they come out of the vila, realise Joey was planted in there and that they aren't actually friends!

To be fair, I dont think it's racism. They have done the same to Grace in the past, bringing up situations that were put to bed! They've also said stuff about Ciaran aswell, I think. They are just a pair of bitches the 2 of them!

I'd love to see Joey and Sean in the bottom of the poll but the producers won't allow that especially for Joey.

Really don't want to see Sean or Joey in the finals. Shame that Jessy and Matilda will suffer by association.

Similar to what I said about Jessy upthread I’m sure Sean - and especially Joey- know the optics of Josh kicking off, and how it won’t look good and they’re trying to use this to their advantage.

Josh has handled this very well. He has been very firm but assertive. I think Sean especially is a bit disappointed he didn’t get more of an explosive reaction.

I reckon after sleeping on it he must’ve realised he has made himself look bad and can’t play the victim since Josh remained so calm, which is why he smoothed things over in the morning.

Hope Mimi realises Grace and Jessy are not her friends. They didn’t give a damn about how she might have felt with Joey and Sean’s digs. I’m glad Jessica made clear she disagreed with them.
