I couldn’t see a new thread so thought I’d make one. Yup another boring one… Anyway looks like Konnor has bagged himself a Lollipop though I’m surprised the candyman didn’t get in there first (ugh). We haven’t had half as many games, the hideaway is perma open and no one’s going in there. No real discussions or code words around how the relationships are going on the chemistry front. What’s going on?

Worst series ever this one is IMO.

Agree with all of this. I’ve been skipping episodes like last nights and the parent one as they’re so dull. I tried to vote but didn’t like any of them enough for the positive categories.
i don’t think any of them will last and don’t particularly favour any individuals. They all seem like decent people, but there’s no one I adore like Whitney.

I think Ciara’s and Nicole will win but I don’t think they deserve it and Mimii and Josh will come second as people love Mimii. She does seem like a nice person, as does Josh, but I don’t think she’s that into him. Same as Rueben is lovely but I don’t believe Grace is that bothered.

One thing that Joey has said which is interesting is how he and Grace were practically having sex, Grace hasn’t been like that with anyone AND Joey and Jesus aren’t like that either, they face away from each other in bed.

Remember the days when they would all just do it? There was one person who threw the covers off her whilst she was on top of her partner because she knew that the cameras wouldn’t film her as her breasts were on show, all the other contestants were shocked.! I’m glad they’re all a bit more reserved these days.

Tbf though, Joey and Grace had sex prior to being in the villa so was probably much easier for them to fall back into it.

They're either told not to have sex now or they've all come to realise it's not particularly great for future career prospects if you've been banging on national TV.

Well she thought they wouldn't film her, they still did and they showed it on TV.
I don't think her breasts were on show though. She just thought that if the sex was more open and they weren't hidden under the covers that they wouldn't show it.

That was in the days of the constant smoking! And remember they sometimes used to film the islanders reactions to stuff after they had left the house.
On that series they filmed Malin watching Terry move on with Emma (the girl you're talking about) and then let Malin go back in to confront him!

I’m another who doesn’t find Reuben cringe. He has Labrador retriever energy and helps to keep the mood upbeat when everyone else is embroiled in drama. He has the self confidence that Joey lacks and that in itself makes him more attractive.

I think it’s also only to be expected that Grace was more physically intimate with Joey after a short time. They dated after all whereas Reuben was a stranger to her.

I'm still so confused re the Hideaway. There was a massive thing about it being open to all at any time they wanted, yet it's barely been mentioned.
And last week someone said they'd never been in there at all.
Why wouldn't you have a nosy at the very minimum? It's so baffling to me.

I don't agree. They put young people together encouraging them to couple up and share beds, some are bound to get carried away. I don't think think it needs spelling out or showing if they actually have sex. It's a normal thing to do in that situation minus, well, the cameras and room full of other people!

Depending what job you do or background you're from it could be really damaging though and that risk can be removed by just not showing it. It doesn't really add anything. 'kissing in bed' and 'who was making those noises?!' probably doesn't just refer to snogging so you get an idea who's been getting close at night!

Consensual sex is absolutely a very normal thing but I would argue that doing it in a dorm room with 10 other people on national tv isn’t normal!

This is just the worst series ever. I completely disagree with pps who said it'd be worse without Joey stirring things.
The first couple of weeks, it was the Joey show, and everyone brown nosed him and didn't say a word against him.
Now he's just being snide and constantly having a go. He's not winding anyone up in a daft way, it's all nasty, and not remotely funny or entertaining
