Justice are more like it. Even though dance isn't really my thing. But dh and I are bobbing quite happily too this. He is Mr dance. I am Ms punk and metal. We have some crossover.

Oh dear. I’m sure SZA is talented, but she’s a very long way from being proper Glastonbury headliner material at this stage of her career. A fact which is reflected in the audience’s reaction.

The fact that she is in this slot just says ‘Taylor Swift turned us down, so this will have to do’. Which isn’t really fair on either the audience or SZA.

Yes SZA is a weird choice for headliner. Glad it isn’t just me that hasn’t heard of her! Agree that Avril Lavigne should have been given a higher profile slot.
I’ve been quite enjoying London Grammar & also Romy earlier. Nia Archives was good when she was singing but I found her DJ set too hectic.

I really liked NIA Archives too @Peanutbutterfan. I felt quite nostalgic during her DJ set for the D&B I used to listen to in my youth!

Anyhow, just wanted to say thanks all for a great, fun thread, and in the words of Seventeen on Friday, we may be divided by culture or language, but we can all connect through music, which is a much needed sentiment in these troubled times! X

my guess is avril was off to another festival - in her interview she seemed a bit underwhelmed by glasto. It was part of her tour. So she might have wanted an early slot?
