Satay Street wasn’t a thing when I lived in Singapore (last century!😂) you just went to Clarke Quay or Boat Quay.

Singapore makes me think of Tenko. I remember Big Bea, the camp doctor, grinding up insects to stop the inmates getting beri-beri. Sounded horrible at the time but it''s what Pig-Man would sprinkle on his ice-cream.
