I'm feeling shitty, and ran out of so ething to binge!
For context I love dark and weird series like them, from and dark.
But I've also binged greys, station 19, criminal minds.
Would prefer something weird but open to anything bar love stories!
Please help

Slow Horses is brilliant. Gary Oldman is excellent, the whole cast is. A definite recommend from me.

verylongday · 08/05/2024 09:15

Ozark is fantastic
Ted Lasso and the morning show on Apple are both good.

Girl as I said earlier and the cabinet of curiosity

Enjoy Cabinet! Some of them are very dark indeed.

Oops. This isn't dark or weird, but if you quite like a shortish drama series, how about Trust Me or Liar on Netflix?

I'm watching Broadchurch for the first time on ITVX. I am going to be very sad when it's over.

duc748 · 08/05/2024 17:02

The other German Netflix series I meant to recommend is The Signal, about the woman astronaut.

Ooh I like the same kind of things as you, and as a random suggestion have you tried The Secret on Neflix, with James Nesbitt? It was thrown up as a suggestion for me and I kind of rolled my eyes a bit as he only ever seems to star in the same kind of roles. But it was really good! Much more dark, fast paced and twisty than I was expecting, and Nesbitt is actually quite sinister. Heartily sings along to hymns on his guitar whilst looking terrifying. Worth a go

Pretty much the opposite of dark but Good Doctor on Now is great fun.
