LaPalmaLlama · 13/04/2024 23:01

My friend bullied me into watching the Drop Out. I was like “nah I know everything about that” . It is awesome and there was loads about it that I didn’t know- it’s about Theranos.

neilyoungismyhero · 13/04/2024 23:04

Broadchurch. Never keen on DT or OC to be honest but ran out of stuff to watch. Really loved it.

Pigeonqueen · 13/04/2024 23:09

The Bear for me, dh persuaded me to watch it.

I got dh and dd aged 21 hooked on line of duty when they both came in one day when I was watching it. They made me start over from the beginning again so they could join in.

EventuallyDecluttered · 13/04/2024 23:10

Ghosts, DD and DH watched it but I never bothered, wasn't a huge fan of Horrible Histories, then last year I decided to book us on the filming tour for one of their birthdays so I had to watch and it was amazing, have watched all of it over and over now.

BobnLen · 14/04/2024 07:44

Mortimer and Whitehouse, Gone Fishing. DH was watching it

cassiatwenty · 14/04/2024 10:04

Miss Scarlet and the Duke (wasn't my idea to watch it Grin

mum2jakie · 14/04/2024 10:05

Breaking Bad. Only watched it because my oldest son wanted us to watch it together on holiday. Ended up going home and subscribing to Netflix and watching all of the seasons together. Took the best part of a year!

Bluevelvetsofa · 14/04/2024 18:12

DH was watching Slow Horses. I got hooked.

Tovtoday · 14/04/2024 18:15

Dark on Netflix, it’s dh’s fault…

nuttynatty1 · 14/04/2024 18:16

Game of thrones! Never would have chose to watch it myself but got hooked when Dp was watching it. Ended up watching the whole thing and couldn't wait for the new seasons to come out.

wonderinglywondering · 14/04/2024 18:17

The Last Kingdom - history nerd DH suggested it. I couldn't watch it fast enough and cried when it ended!

Brandnewskytohangyourstarsupon · 14/04/2024 18:19

Killing Eve.
killing Eve
KILLING BLOODY WELL EVE! Outstanding, watched it by accident. Now watched the whole thing 3 times..

Peaky Blinders, someone at work told me about it so watched it.. by orders of the Peaky Blinders. Fantastic.

And finally, Schitts Creek. Saw it advertised, had it on in the background one day, hooked, totally hooked.

Cookerhood · 14/04/2024 18:20

Ted Lasso. I couldn't think why I would want to watch a series about football. How wrong I was.

Matildatoldsuchdreadfullies · 14/04/2024 18:28

An Australian kids show that my dds were watching on Netflix. Dance Academy. Irritating central character, but if you can get over that it's funny, interesting, and a couple of episodes actually made me cry.

GCITC · 14/04/2024 18:29

IT Crowd. Can't believe it took me so long to watch it. Thanks @Glinner!

allfurcoatnoknickers · 14/04/2024 18:29

Loki and The Moon Knight.

SpikeWithoutASoul · 14/04/2024 18:32

My parents went on and on about Last Tango in Halifax but I thought it would be twee and dull. Eventually watched the first episode to prove myself right, and then binge watched the entire thing. Sorry Mum, you were right, it’s genius.

Philandbill · 14/04/2024 18:32

@EventuallyDecluttered and me! DD2 encouraged me to watch it and then we did the filming tour last summer, it was fantastic. Love Ghosts but it does sometimes bring a tear to the eye as well as being very funny.

blazethrough · 14/04/2024 18:33

Ted Lasso!!! I thought it was going to be all about football and really pulled my face... but it is an amazing series that makes you laugh and cry. There are so many feel good factors that you end up so invested and absolutely loving it. Brilliant.

Patchworksack · 14/04/2024 18:33

Detectorists. I thought DH was mad when he said it’s a show about metal detecting….
