Capital City - very 80s and would look very dated now but I loved it. Never seen it repeated.
Love Hurts - Adam Faith and Zoe Wannamaker

CitroenDrivingFootballMum · 31/03/2008 08:52

Nbg · 31/03/2008 08:55

Friends
Sex and the City
Absolutely Fabulous

I wish they'd all come back.

I love Lost too and it'll be a real shame when that finishes.

MaryAnnSingleton · 31/03/2008 09:12

I remember the Hello Girls and loved the Cedar Tree

tissy · 31/03/2008 09:21

ooh, yes, the High Life!

I've got the DVD- fantastic series, Alan Cumming and Siobhan whatserface.

It was filmed at Prestwick airport (before it had its recent makeover) and I used to remember the series everytime I went past the notice at the door to the gates that said, "Haste ye back!")

ExtraFancy · 31/03/2008 09:25

Quantum Leap
My So Called Life

seeker · 31/03/2008 09:52

OOOOOH deary me!!!!!!!

annemarie29 · 31/03/2008 10:00

psychos which was on ch4 and starred the guy from primeval.

marina · 31/03/2008 10:02

We loved The High Life
I am sure we used to have a poster called Shona McSpurtle
My personal fave was Patrick Ryecart's insane captain
Had totally forgotten that Alan and Saffron used to be "married"

seeker · 31/03/2008 10:05

I went to university with Siobhan Redmond.

marina · 31/03/2008 10:07

Ha, seeker, I was at university with the "never once recommissioned" director Angie de C Smith
We knew The High Life was ultimately doomed for that reason alone, although I think she did manage a huge stint of six months on EastEnders once before she was rumbled
Siobhan Redmond is fab

CitroenDrivingFootballMum · 31/03/2008 10:12

i put my nickel in the telephone and dialled my baby's number

it goes brr brr brr brr

busy line

no other takers for sex chips and rock and roll then?

Twin Peaks

OK, far fetched of course, but bizarre characters and epic music.

aaaaah, girlfrommars, i thought it was the wee blonde who'd written it. so good, isn't it? it's actually not surprising that she wrote it, i was saying to dh the other day that she gets all the best lines.

orangina · 31/03/2008 11:07

Northern Exposure..... REALLY miss that one...

SirDigbyChickenCaesar · 31/03/2008 11:17

Carnivale (can i have a mini-rant here? the guy who wrote it had it all planned out for 6 series. it was cancelled after 2 (becuase it was too expensive to make apparently). right at a really important part. but HBO won't give up the rights because it was popular and they don;t want another channel to have a popular show. bastards.)
Judging Amy
Providence
Joan of Arcadia
Spaced
Millennium

Kerry, that was Dead Like Me and it was awesome!

PhoebenotBuffay · 31/03/2008 12:58

Another vote for Arrested Development here. It's back on late night on BBC2 so I sky+ it. Too bad that it ever ended.

Another one I miss is Chicago Hope mostly because I love Mandy Patinkin (who is now in Criminal Minds).

Tatties · 31/03/2008 13:05

LOL Psychobabble! AFAIK they have never repeated Making Out and nor does it seem to be available on video/dvd

SueBaroo · 31/03/2008 13:41

oo, someone mentioned Bugs. I ^loved Bugs.

And Crime Traveller, because I am really, really sad.
