In my first school we had the most amazing cook, she really cared about the food she served and it was delicious, every single teacher sat and ate with the children, I remember her being sent on a course and coming back with a recipe for something called chicken Marengo, it was yummy, but she stood and watched every child’s reaction the first time she served it ( they loved it) .She used to come in a at 5.00 in the morning to cook real turkeys for school Christmas lunch.
