I quite like Grimmy on Gogglebox, don't really know the others that well.
But it might be an interesting watch.
Alternatively, I end up not rooting for the underdog and rename the show Josh Must Die.

Well the phone call you saw would have been arranged in advance not spontaneous so she was prepped.
Otherwise you'd have the drama of her being like me and either not picking up the phone or having no story to reveal.
The whole arc including the smash in case of emergency bullshittery will all have been planned and produced ahead of filming. Nothing really left to chance other than the nominations themselves.

I'm just catching up. Missed last Wed 'live' as we had a powercut due to the storm. Then hadn't watched in time to see yesterday's. Will catch up on the thread after watching these two eps.

I'd rather have seen Myles go than Jack but I guess Myles is causing friction so good for the entertainment value. Ah, there we go, that's why the panel picked him.

I'm really startng to like the panel too. The only one I had vaguely heard of was Pete, and that was for being a knob, but when he's not being a knob he seems an alright fella. Both Vicky and Amy are really lovely and more down to earth than I would have expected.

Voting is going mostly has I expected, apart from Louis being voted least by.. Jeanette I think. Ohhh that was a close call with the new couple but Myles is obviously giving the same impression to everyone. I'm glad Louis has come through as the fave to keep Josh safe.

I'm half thinking there are a couple of pros in the group though, At least. Could Josh be a plant with the aim being not to judge a book by it's cover? Maybe he's mega famous among some niche group. Millions of followers as a master welder or somethng 🤔😆

That said, I have no talents whatsoever. Can't sing, do magic, hula hoop, batons, heelies, rubix cube, juggle, limbo, tap dance, cartwheel. Nothing like that.

Jeanette can sing.
Sofia was better than expected.
Dre was dire.
Louie was sabotaged but still has a voice for karaoke only.
Josh can wrestle.
Darius is strong. He really fancies himself though.
Maddy's make-up was insane, not in a good way.

If they base nominations on talent then Josh/Jeanette both have a chance at favourite. I think they'd both pick the new couple?

If panel were manipulating properly, they'd put Jeanette in instead because whoever Josh picks is going to be butt hurt.
He can't pick Speidi if they're up already. He won't pick Jeanette, Louie or Maddy.
So he's got to go for Sofia or Dre.

Josh was clever to take Sofia with him (although I still think she'll vote him Least next. And Louie will too, when it gets nearer to the final).

I thought tonight's was definitely more entertaining than last nights. To be honest I'm not sure the manipulation is helping much. Josh appears to be doing quite a good job on his own.

I don't know if your thinking what I'm thinking, but I did find myself wondering tonight if this whole thing is written and produced by Josh.

Yeah, I just feel like the show premise is good, but the end being "yay, Josh won! Look at why he won!" seems unlikely and not very exciting.

Last night's was definitely the most fun. And Josh deserved to win the talent show. I was very suspicious though when we did not get to see Josh wrestling when Nick showed the others on the iPad. And even when Josh was doing his wrestling gig it looked to me (who watched hours of Big daddy et al with Grandma back in the day, even seeing them live a few times! What was it with grannies loving wrestling back then?! Anyway...), it looked very amateurish moves type thing.

I'm really enjoying the individual elements of this but I'm not sure it works as a show.

And now I've caught up on the thread I agree that there's something else going on in the background, I've just no idea what!

Is tonight the final show?
