Who will go tonight?

OP posts:
Aquarius1234 · 16/03/2024 22:11

Louis spotted.. drama over

BirthdayRainbow · 16/03/2024 22:32

Fern?

Lookatyounowlookatme · 16/03/2024 22:59

Fern I think?

Watching the interviews now. Ekin-Su is holding her own very well. AJ's facial expressions, she shouldn't play poker, put it that way.
With reality shows I'm always aware of RuPaul's track "Blame it on the edit" which disses those who don't take accountability for what they say. However, those in production are trained to find narratives, arcs, drama, redemption. So we do end up watching villain edits, I'm sure.
Levi apologised to Colson three times: Marisha apologised thirteen times, Levi, you weren't even close to the apology record! ;-) Levi was surprisingly open in his interview - doubling down on the boring and stating David was greedy and admitting he'd voted tit-for-tat. Could have done without the singing though.
Ekin-Su: "I was just hurt that I wasn't portrayed as myself on the show."
AJ: "It's interesting, Ekin, because you just literally walked out the house - you don't know what's been seen, what's been said. But I can assure you that everything that has been seen and has been said has been said by you! ".
Her and Layton were opposed to the edit defence.

I think because Ekin heard that she got a lot of boos, she immediately assumed it was because she'd been edited badly and no one had seen the real her. She didn't think it had anything to do with her massive over reaction to being nominated Grin

Sharon only picked Levi because she got cancelled in America. Shes came back to the UK (lucky us eh, to be blessed with such greatness on our shores) on a massive damage limitation drive.

Agree that Sharon picked Levi because she was accused of being racist in America and was duly cancelled

Sharon is a deeply unpleasant individual

Lookatyounowlookatme · 17/03/2024 10:22

What did Sharon do/say that was racist?

Those interviews last night were shocking, ES sems to be fair game to be attacked, Fern first triggered this off. I don't know what she's done but that, last night was uncalled for, I would have walked off if I were her, the presenters should be ashamed of themselves, complete bullying asking the audience if anyone would stick up for her.
No, all sheep barring away appart from one man who tried to throw her a bone.

All ES's anger can be attributed to that night at the kissing boothe whereby Fern took her down.

Fern, with that sickly sweet voice and name, she no wilting flora.

I agree so much.
Fern is so fake and so so boring. She needs to go.
I think BB wasnt fair on ES. I didnt see them giving her enough tasks so that she could be seen.
Still she was nice to watch. The rest are boring.
I didn't watch LI but the after series of her with Davide. She seemed so genuine and fair. Davide is wooden and deserves to be dumped. No character in him at all.
Bradley nominating ES was so uncalled for. It changed my idea about him.
I see nothing in Nikita, so so boring. Not handsome at all either.
Marisha can win, she looks good character. The way she nominated ES was a bit compliment in itself, ES could see that but heyho in the heat of the moment.
ES's biggest mistake was nominating Louis.
David is loud and boring. It is so tiring and annoying to see his fat thighs all the time. They nearly take all the screen. He is all big thighs and loud.
I can't stand AJ's shouting and voice. It reminds me of crows. Can't take it. Wills equally annoying.
Who is Layton?
ES needs a good coach, her mum made a mistake.
Colson is a good man. But he took the boring part too much seriously. Though I didnt like Levi much, still he tried to explain it to him.
Well, this is all my take from it :)

Agree, I didnt like her at all. She nominated Louis, too.
She saved Zeze for the same reason, too.

Hopingitsahornyfinger · 17/03/2024 11:50

Lookatyounowlookatme · 17/03/2024 10:22

What did Sharon do/say that was racist?

It was at the time of the MM & Harry Oprah interview & all the surrounding furore.

On the panel show she was on (The Talk), she called MM a liar, stuck up for the Royal family & also defended Piers Morgan (following him walking off GMB). I think one of the other panellists called her racist which she denied, but it all escalated & she was effectively cancelled in the US.

She made no mention of race in what she said & was equally scathing of Harry but was deemed to be racist & cancelled!

DeeleyBen · 17/03/2024 12:10

Can’t stand AJ well her screechy voice to be precise!

very Scary Spice she sounds to me !

Dostadning · 17/03/2024 12:52

Who is Layton?
Layton's been the Late n Live sleb guest/pundit, presumably on the back of his Strictly partnership with Nikita (they came joint second). He has been on stage and also in Bad Education.

I meant I am not interested in his opinions, he is so biased.
Thanks anyway.

Edited

Ah sorry! Blush
I agree he is biased.
He's hardly going to say anything against his friend.
I want Louis or Zeze to win atm. It might change again by tomorrow night. Wink

lollipoprainbow · 17/03/2024 15:06

Not biased just calling her out on her lies.

AJ saying 'please do not swwuurr' is so irritating and exaggerated for effect.

Dostadning · 17/03/2024 15:17

"Marisha had to pick someone basically and she did pick you, just like you picked Louis. Louis squashed it you know and kind of kept it moving and unfortunately you dragged it on and I kind of did feel for Marisha in that moment. I was like, you know what this is her big day, she had just been told she had been nominated for an Olivier Award and to see her crying in the Big Brother...' as Ekin-Su interrupted: 'You haven't seen everything they have cut stuff out but ok.'
Yet Layton was having none of it, as he hit back: 'Don't blame it on the edit, one thing we are not going to do is blame it on the edit.
'We're not blaming it on the edit girl. We see what we see and it was just a shame, it was a big shame."

Layton said all the above on Late n Live to Ekin-Su.
I don't think this is biased - he was saying what a lot thought hence her being voted out by the public.

I can, however, think she did get a Villain edit - one that I also fell for/believed in and you could give me all the tapes and I could produce a more boring Halo edit of her instead.

But do I think Layton is biased towards Nikita? Of course he is. They're mates. He is supporting him and heading off any hint of criticism (e.g he jumped on the wagwan and reiterated how Nikita had been to the diary room to apologise even though he didn't need to as we saw the footage ourselves!) Layton wants Nikita to win. Totally fine but I prefer pundits who aren't supporting specific cast members and are only reacting to what's shown on screen. Nikita's edit, thus far, is boring.
And I love him on Strictly.

Iamme1980 · 17/03/2024 15:28

The sneak peak looks good, that task looks like it is going to kick of.

Dostadning · 17/03/2024 16:05

Ooh, what's the task?

Aquarius1234 · 17/03/2024 16:27

I think Ekin-Su would have gone either way.
If she didn't kick off at Marisha and just made some remarks in the Diary Room.
Then had a boring edit she probably would have picked up even less votes to save.
Imo I found ES weirdly more entertaining when she was crawling up Sharon right until she left.
Plus Lauren was mates with ES and looked more annoying.
Then it all went wrong. Edited out then the crazy kick off and then voted out immediately the next day. Rushed.

Blogbrother · 17/03/2024 16:54

I bet Fern was in seventh heaven thinking Marisha sided with her, and with Marisha comes ZeZe.

I do think ES reacted very badly towards Marisha especially on such an important night but I do think Fern turned the screw on the kissing booth night and maybe that infuenced Marisha's voting.

Es's anger should have been directed at Fern that night.
At this point I'd like Marisha to win, that could change 😂

Aquarius1234 · 17/03/2024 17:09

They used to write the names on a board each. Then turn it over when doing the face to face.
This meant you couldn't change your mind, depending on how the vote was going.

Iamme1980 · 17/03/2024 17:17

The task looks to be fairy story, they all looked dressed up in that sort of costumes.
Louis and Zeze looks to be some sort of king/queen/ leader.
Louis and Zeze were arguing over something task related and then it looks like all of them have to nominate someone.

NillyNoMates · 17/03/2024 18:13

I think ES will move out of the limelight now. She was very shocked about not being popular.

I agree. She will lie low for the rest of the year I reckon. In CBB, she was a bit annoying - and snarky now and again - to Colson especially. And she got all arsey when anyone mentioned Love Island - ya know, the show that made her FAMOUS!

She was OK apart from that.

However, her ridiculous, laughable, LUDICROUS reaction to Marisha voting for her, shouting 'YOU take the crown!' and sobbing into her teddy bear like a toddler, not only guaranteed her eviction, but also did a lot of damage to her public image. She has pretty much stalled any 'career' she had. Whatever career that was.

Only way to come back from it is to let the dust settle, and then come back with something that pokes fun at herself, like Gazza did when he cried at the World Cup in 1990, like George Michael did when he was caught in the public loos with a man in 1998, and like Gareth Southgate did when he let the penalty in during Euro '96.

May be a little more difficult as we are talking about 3 massive stars who are very talented. Ekin-Su has nothing but a pretty face sadly.
