Greys Anatomy star Richard Flood stars in this 6 part drama

2 episodes a week on a Saturday for 3w

Irish cop Theo travels to New Zealand to find a missing Irish couple there

He paid up with Māori detective Diana (Acushia Tara Kupe) and they delve into the mystery which could be linked to the murder of another couple a few years earlier

Hmmm will wait to see the consensus on this one before I commit....

MissyB1 · 15/03/2024 15:13

I will give it a go, I’m in the lookout for something new.

martinisforeveryone · 15/03/2024 15:31

Noted, thanks @Blondeshavemorefun

Lovewine1975 · 15/03/2024 15:43

Thank you this looks good

Blondeshavemorefun · 15/03/2024 17:02

Bbc 4 sat night stuff are usually quite good .....

30 mins in and this is good, moving at pace!

SabrinaThwaite · 16/03/2024 23:54

Scenery is good, but so far the plot / characters seem a bit clichéd.

Is it just me, or is there a lot of mumbling? I’ve resorted to watching on iPlayer because I keep missing bits and having to rewind.

Blondeshavemorefun · 17/03/2024 10:39

Seen e1. Will watch 2 later

Seemed quite good

I always have subtitles on as have bad hearing

Agh! I’ve missed the first two episodes and don’t seem to be on catch up! Or ‘available now’. Will I have missed way too much?

They should be on iPlayer? I can get all episodes there.

I’ve got sky and searched ‘The Gone’ in their search tool and can only record episode 3 & 4; no previous episode listed. I’ve tried catch up Ch4 for yesterday and it’s not listed there either. I’ve gone to streaming Ch4 and used the search function for ‘gone’ and got ‘where have all the lesbians gone’ 🤔

SabrinaThwaite · 17/03/2024 11:50

It’s on BBC4 - you should be able to see it there (if you use the BBC / iPlayer).

It's not on channel 4, it's bbc iplayer.
You should have a link to the app straight from your sky menu.

Blondeshavemorefun · 17/03/2024 11:54

Should be on iPlayer to catch up 1&2

3&4 are next week

Started watching last night and was enjoying it but fell asleep before the end of E1 so will catch up today.

IWannaBeInTheRoomWhereItHappens · 17/03/2024 13:03

I started watching it, but is it me or is the sound really muffled on this one? I can barely hear what they're saying, it's like the centre channel is missing or something.

BoreOfWhabylon · 17/03/2024 13:33

I almost always have subtitles on for dramas and films. There's nothing wrong with my hearing but mumbling delivery and loud background music is almost universal.

Same for me with everything on TV these days. The mumbling and what I call “gabbling” i.e. all words running into each other, just seems to be standard now.

Blondeshavemorefun · 17/03/2024 14:34

Actors always mumble or they have loud background music

No need

I always use subtitles

Halsall · 17/03/2024 21:47

Yes, the mumbling was terrible. We put the subtitles on - first time we’ve actually had to do that! Glad to know it’s not just us…

MissyB1 · 17/03/2024 21:49

Just watched the first two episodes. The sound quality is very poor.

MrsLargeEmbodied · 18/03/2024 07:32

thanks for the thread.
might watch this
