Actors always mumble or they have loud background music

No need

I always use subtitles

I agree @Blondeshavemorefun

I've seen it so am looking forward to reading all the comments.
Particularly the ending.............

Jenesaisquoiii · 18/03/2024 22:35

Anyone got any thoughts about the ending? Wouldn't like to add spoilers but want to discuss with someone 😆

TheChosenTwo · 18/03/2024 22:50

@Jenesaisquoiii there’s a spoiler thread somewhere, I’ll see if I can find it to link…

Jenesaisquoiii · 18/03/2024 23:13

Oh yay thank you! :)
So need to google if there's a season 2 in the works.
highly annoying ending.

NotDonna · 19/03/2024 20:22

Ahh I’ve watched this Saturdays as well then. Episode 5 next. So I’ll make zero comments incase I slip up. To be honest I’m losing interest despite it starting off quite well.

Just watched 1&2 & really enjoyed so far.

I'm really enjoying it but agree about the mumbling! Glad others mentioned it as was worried about my hearing

duc748 · 23/03/2024 22:26

It's not all that. The stereotypical Irishman with his camán and ball. Of course all Irishmen take one everywhere! But NZ looks very pretty as always.

Subtitles 😄

Yup!

Subtitles all the way!

I have tinnitus & can't be doing with turning the sound up & down everytime there's music of varying volumes!

Blondeshavemorefun · 24/03/2024 16:24

Tbh I have them on all the time now

Tbh I have them on all the time now

Yes me too.

Might be needing glasses soon to see them more clearly though!

LadyEloise1 · 24/03/2024 18:20

Sometimes it's the bl*ody music that drowns out the dialogue. 😮

Villagetoraiseachild · 24/03/2024 20:54

Agreed, they forgot to check the sound quality. I've got my volume right up!

I thought the funeral was beautiful, not sure if that was typical Maori.
Really enjoying it. Feels like there's a lot under the surface. I hope it concludes in a meaningful way.

duc748 · 24/03/2024 23:56

Yeah, the funeral scene was lovely.
So imdb says six eps, so finishes next weekend, then.

Blondeshavemorefun · 25/03/2024 08:26

Yes last 2 next sat

Anyone else think the male lead looks like Ronan Keating's hot older brother?

Blondeshavemorefun · 30/03/2024 21:28

5&6 tonight
