Jannik has started well, already 4-0 up.

This is a disastrous start for Daniil, I wasn't expecting it at all. I like both of them - it would be a shame if it was a very one sided match.

The Alfie/Jannik video just emphasised how difficult wheelchair tennis is and how skilled the players are. Alfie was toying with him

It really did- it amazes me how they do it.

This match really has not gone the way I thought- Daniil is just not on form at all, and Jannik is all over it.

Well done Jannik. He just thrashed Daniil, who just didn't seem to get going, and made so many mistakes.

Couldn't stay awake to watch last night (sure it will be repeated during the day today) but fabulous result for Grigor. He has played Sascha a handful of times in the past year -always lost- so that's a good win for him. I get the feeling they get on well.

Jamie Delgado was interviewed before the Sinner match (sans bucket hat) I think he is enjoying the ride with Grigor- and Grigor's laid back attitude to it.

I saw an interview with Grigor, where he was told he was on a fan voted list of the top 10 most handsome players, and could he guess them. (Tommy Paul was number 1- WTF?!).

I'm not surprised Girgor is on the list, he's still a good looking bloke- despite some dubious kit choices in the past . He was very humble about being the list- (he was 4th).

Matteo was number 3, behind Karen, iirc. But Tommy Paul. Seriously?? Some fans shouldn't be allowed to vote for things.

Anyway, I'm full of a cold, and in a sulk, because of the lack of big epic Biblical film on the tv. There wasn't one on yesterday (it was Jason and the Argonauts, that well known bible story). The Voyage of Sinbad was on earlier.

I mean, The Robe was on at Christmas. Twice. And Jesus Christ Superstar. Channel 4 have been showing Kung Fu Panda . <sulks>.
