Jane the grey court really is awful- I know a lot of tournaments have dark courts- especially indoors. I don't like it. And any brighter colour really stands out, like odd computer graphics .

I saw a picture of Big Foe- his kit looks slightly migraine inducing, like trying to describe an 'aura' to someone who has never experienced one. I'm glad he's doing well though. The US needs more Big Foe and a whole lot less Tommy Paul .

I will miss most of today, I have agreed to take DD2 into the city centre. The trains are on strike, so we are getting the tram. It takes 10 minutes on the train- and an hour on the tram. . I will then be in Primark hell, most likely.

I have just got home. We spent more time on the tram, and the Primark queue, than we probably did shopping . It's just too busy for me these day, and there was a time I could wander round Manchester for hours.
