I switched on to see Daniil looking knackered so off course he won the match!

Apparently Rafa is going to be playing his first Indian Wells match on 7 March at 6pm local time - that’s very specific - I’ve not worked out my US timings yet so not sure if I’ll get to see him

I think he’s playing an exhibition tournament with Alcaraz as well (hopefully Carlos will have recovered from his ankle injury by then)

It's a shame Jakub had to retire. I don't know what the problem is?

I had to go out- I see the score in the first set of the Mensik/ADF match went to a very close tie break- maybe Jakub has reached his limit, but he has had a very good couple of weeks and made his mark. He will be one to avoid in a draw, certainly.

My google is always full of 'what is the time in X...' I never remember from one tournament to the next. Unless it's Europe.

I see Hubi won. I had to put Emmerdale on!

Thanks for the new thread Jane. Not had chance for much tennis watching recently but work is calming down slightly now so hoping to have more time. I’ve been following results and the chat on here. Looking forwards to seeing Rafa back!

Solid win for Daniil- I think ADF( who I really like) is destined to be stuck in a mid 20s ranking limbo forever. He keeps getting so far and just can't get any further. He tends to make daft mistakes at the important moments.
Daniil was saying the other day that he really does need to defend a title somewhere- maybe this is his week.

Hubi playing Ugo now, I do like both, but would like Hubi to win.

Humbert has the advantage now, which I was not expecting early on. I wonder how affected Hubi was by the fall? His serve is a bit wayward now too.

Shame for Hubi, but he seemed out of sorts by the end. Humbert played very well to turn that around.

I didn't get to see any today but I'm glad Holger won his match. I don't know what time that was at because I am confused as ever! There's a clip on instagram and his footwork is amazing, he obviously inherited the balletic genes

It's a RuRu match, in the next round. I was score watching earlier, and Casper was in a very close first set against ben Shelton- that ben very narrowly won on a tine break. Tbh, I thought he would win the match. I missed the end, and obviously, Casper went on to win the next 2 sets.

I am out tonight, so don't know what I will see (can never remember whether matches might be finished before a certain time- in Dubai, anyway).

Boulter and Draper still doing well. Jack will reach a career high and be new GB No.2 next Monday.

Was score watching Dubai and suddenly saw that Rublev was defaulted at 5-6 in the third. Watched it back. Never seen anything like it. It's his word vs the line judge. As commentators said, next year it's all automatic line calling, so this wouldn't happen. The umpire looked quite upset aswell.
So Daniil vs Ugo just started.

I missed the end of the Rublev match kazza- it was such a good match for the 2 sets I saw. What a horrible way for it to end.
From reading, it appears it's claimed he verbally abused the line judge in Russian ( the line judge speaks Russian) he claims he didn't and was speaking English. He will lose all points and prize money for the week. It's a mess.

I really like Andrey, but when he loses it, he really does- and it is not nice to watch. (And he was playing someone who knows a lot about loss of control). I hope he can come back from this ok.

Andrey was pretty distraught and insisted he didn't say anything in Russian. He asked for the referee to view the video to prove it but that didn't happen.
