I thought The Gone was only OK, based on first two eps. A bit 'by numbers', stock characters etc. Just about enough to keep me watching, though.

What I’m saying as that you got their first @Blondeshavemorefun but people who do it for a living have endorsed.

Although, you flag up nearly everything coming up so we can all make up our own minds, which is great, they choose three or four and a pick from the archive.

This week they also recommended The Jury, which our gang’s already done and Pilgrimage. The archive is Top of the Lake from 2013, also set in NZ. I’ve never seen that, I thought at first they meant that Aussie one, Deadloch 🙄

Even if I can't watch the series because it's not shown on my tv provider's offerings I save the thread til it arrives.
It nearly always does and sometimes we're actually ahead of the UK.
I watched almost all of the first episode of Hightown but it wasn't for me.
What are people's thoughts on it?

I wasn't keen on the first series of Blue Lights and don't have the channel for Cleaning Lady , but have been watching The Twelve [very good] and Professor T , which isn't bad .

I missed s1&2 of professor t so need to watch them first

@NotDonna It's about a woman on trial for the suspected murder of her teenage niece . The twelve are the jury . I've only watch two episodes so far , and it's as much about the lives of the twelve jurors as what goes on in the courtroom .

There are 10 episodes, so quite a few ! .

It's on Itv on Thursdays at 9pm and on ItvX .
