Title says it all

I think it's to do with "the story" and these designs are just concepts. I don't think anyone realistically expected to put that final design in shelves.

But they could envisage a cereal with a female superhero called Power Hoops or similar.

Is it a time thing?

I get the impression the time constraints are a huge factor. As if Kelloggs comes up with a new cereal after one day and a few hours on a computer.

I'm guessing the 'brainstorming' (more like brain drizzle!) takes up a fair bit of time and having to do that and collaborate on each part of the process takes up a fair bit of time. You could probably do it way quicker solo!

Ok that makes more sense! I just presumed they bought the product as is (and couldn't work out why on earth)

I can only hope it's that and they're doing it because they're on TV and have been primed for it and the brands/companies going for exposure etc.
