She liked it lol

Sumthingsweet · 07/03/2024 21:59

Just implying that’s the only job your good at and fair point they don’t say that to a man

Bringtheweatherwithyou · 07/03/2024 22:00

Did Maura think Suralan wants to see her shine???
She seemed a bit taken aback when someone said 'one mistake and you're fired'.

See you all next week :-)

Acatdance · 07/03/2024 22:00

Fucking ridiculous decision, Sam should not have gone. And Suralan should piss off back to the 50s with his 'go back to your babies' shite.

Sumthingsweet · 07/03/2024 22:01

Go home and do the washing up …

Lentilweaver · 07/03/2024 22:03

He almost asked Sam to make him a sandwich!

Onthemarket2024 · 07/03/2024 22:03

Maura is on the opening credits doing the shopping channel task so she makes it at least that far in the process

Lentilweaver · 07/03/2024 22:04

I think either Rachel or Raj will win as they seem to have been on the winning team so far. When will Virdi go FFS?

RonSwansonsChair · 07/03/2024 22:07

As soon as LS said sum at 6-8 year old I knew they'd aim it at 3yr olds.

Acatdance · 07/03/2024 22:10

They always seem to do that with anything aimed at children. Have none of them ever watched a previous series of the show?

Or met any children

Lentilweaver · 07/03/2024 22:11

Tbh it was better than the turd coloured toothbrush. I was expecting some turd lookalike cereal.

Who’s the blonde woman in the sleeveless orange dress on Steve’s team? Don’t remember seeing her before

Rachel

As soon as I saw the gem collection I knew the kids would find it boring and when they were doing the dance... Didn't need to see kids feedback to know they'd find it a bit babyish.

RonSwansonsChair · 07/03/2024 22:21

Sincere regret this week! So with regret means nothing these days...

I think she looks constantly taken aback.

It's like a different version of resting bitch face.

Rachel Tre and Flo in the final three

feelingalittlehorse · 08/03/2024 10:20

I’m not actually sure Suralan’s comment was a sexist dig. I like to have a cheeky Google of the fired candidates to see what their business plans are, and a lot of the articles and statements Sam posted were about how the hardest thing about going in to the process was missing her young children. She’s also a very successful businesswoman already, Suralan will know that from her CV, and will know she is returning to that as well. I think she wasn’t the right choice to go, but unfortunately they completely missed the mark on this task and she was in charge.

I actually rate the Apprentice for that in general. I definitely don’t think male candidates are over represented or unfairly favoured. In fact, they are all as bad as each other 😂😂

Overloadimplode · 08/03/2024 13:14

I don't understand why cereal has to have an app. My 6 and 8 year olds love superheros and bears. So does my 10 year old. They wouldn't need an app but they wouldn't have anything against the cereal boxes.

yy and final five those three plus Paul and Raj. I did have Sam on that list but, well, not now

CousinGreg55 · 08/03/2024 13:32

I'm sure in the past they didnt have to do so many different things on each task.
Last night's they had to produce a cereal, invent a character and logo design the box, act and direct an interactive ad/game, present and then meet and negotiate with clients. It all gets a bit rushed, I'm sure before each task had more of a focus e.g selling or an advert.

clary · 08/03/2024 13:33

Virdi is like the person who is somehow still there when there are only six left. There’s always soneone

IGotItFromAgnes · 08/03/2024 14:14

I am really confused why Phil is there. Unless it’s a completely different business plan, he’s involved with a family firm that’s been going close to 100 years - would have thought that if the plan is to expand that, Dragons Den would have been better than The Apprentice.

Unless he just wants the publicity, not to actually win.

They have to set them up to fail, so it will always get a bit harder.

lemonsaretheonlyfruit · 08/03/2024 18:41

As soon as they put tropical fruit next to a polar bear it was doomed. I have no idea why not one of them picked up on that or let it happen!

Also no idea why the other team's one was so popular? Whenever they have a task thar involves designing or graphics they always look shocking and so unprofessional/ primary school ? It can't be the fault of the graphic designer surely? But they always look so simplistic. Is it a time thing?
