8parts - looks like 2 a week on Tuesday evening

So

The kinsella family are back at the top of their game after the murder of eamon in end of s2

But

A Turkish cartel informs them that eamon owed them a huge debt and since they killed him, the debt is now theirs !!!!

But the biggest threat is that Brendon ‘Bren’ Kinsella is released from prison early

8 is amazing. Edge of the seat viewing. Satisfying and traumatising in equal measure. I cried.

Oh wow. E8 was great !!

So many planning to kill Bren

He deserves it tbh

So the drugs with Wayne was a plot but know they know kinsella set them up

That will Be war for s3

Glad the girls sorted it out as head of gangs

Ans she is preg but obv not Micheals

Bren finally meets his maker

But so does frank 🥲

Can't wait for s3

I just felt so sorry for Frank. Bullied all his life and unable to get away from Bren and then finally, when he snaps, is unable to live with what he's done.

Seven and eight left me breathless. I was on the edge of my seat thinking Frank was going to do himself in and take Birdy with him to 'a better place'

Surprised the queue to 'off' Bren wasn't bigger to be honest.

The one thing I did guess in advance was Amanda's plot with Nuray to take out Hamza and to be honest, fair play to them, because he wouldn't have let Nuray be top dog for long.

I'm keen for series three now.

What brilliant telly that was - I think it was even better than season 1.

Please please let them make season 3 now!

So glad Bren is finally gone! but really sad for Frank (and Birdy too)

@Blondeshavemorefun I did read that one of the actors on the show said there won't be a S3 because all the main actors signed 3 year contracts in 2020 which have obvs now expired and they are all busy / under contract on other projects so they couldn't all be brought back together for a S3.

I do hope this is not true btw! 🙏🏻🤞

Great ending episode 8. Sad about frank but oh so satisfying about Bren. Played brilliant by the actor. If a S3 will they bring back their mum and sister?

Just started second series of Love/Hate after recommendation here. Mmmmm. Hopefully it's a grower. The production feels a bit like the director is a A Level Film studies student channeling his inner Danny Boyle but Rosie and Darren are one beautiful couple! Can't decide whose eyes I would swim in first.

I thought Birdie said she kept in touch with them but I may have misremembered.

Michael hadn't heard anything at all of either his mum or sister, so if Birdy did know, she hadn't passed it on.

Which makes me think they may be dead

They said she ran away with sister

But maybe she is actually in an oil Tin, dead filled up with foam and thrown in the river

The options are there for another series aren't they. A back story or bring the characters back now Bren's gone for ever.

As it's finished I was looking around for something similar and came across Love and Hate on ITVX app. I missed it back in the day. It's from 2010 and there are five series.

I'm only on episode one but recognised Aiden Gillen straight away, he plays Frank in Kin. Funny to see him so many years back but still being an Irish mobster.

Did anyone else watch it?

I started it but got derailed by Kin 2 dropping so I must try it again. It didn't grab me like Kin but might be a slow burner if I give it a chance.

Just finished this - woah! And poor Frank - really felt for him. Great series but does make Dublin & Irish people look bloody frightening!
