8parts - looks like 2 a week on Tuesday evening

So

The kinsella family are back at the top of their game after the murder of eamon in end of s2

But

A Turkish cartel informs them that eamon owed them a huge debt and since they killed him, the debt is now theirs !!!!

But the biggest threat is that Brendon ‘Bren’ Kinsella is released from prison early

Oh I can't wait, series 1 was so good

So, Bren is the scariest character ive seen on telly for a very long time! Reckon he beats the Peaky Blinders... he has no filter whatsoever, and poor poor Birdy.. her and Amanda are in deep trouble with him around now!

1 and 2 on last night

I watched them both on IPlayer so I could see them at an earlier time, but I’m finding it quite hard to follow. I don’t think it’s me as I watched and survived all four series of Walter Presents The Defence, which is Polish with subtitles and at times exceptionally violent, dark and chilling. Quite a few times I had to look away. I much prefer violence and psychological terror to be implied, not graphic.

I think it’s because too few characters hold my attention and I don’t care about them, so I kind of glaze over a bit if that makes sense.

We binged series 2 over 2 nights. Really enjoyed this and love the way the plots in both series build on unintended consequences.

Agree Bren is scary and cold blooded and Hates Woman in charge

He isn't nice to his sons or his dil Amanda or sister and brother

Amanda will flip over Anthony shooting /bring use

I hope bren gets killed

Bren is a wrong un in oh so many ways. Do we know why he was in prison?

On top of all the violence, misogyny and grooming Anthony, he gave me the chills around women. The camera lingering as he touched Birdie’s knee a couple of times, his ‘which one’s for me?’ about Nikita’s friends and worse ‘keep Anna away from him’ I felt sick.

Thought it was a better episode though.

Watched episode 2, Bren is a vile vile vile man!!
